Two double shifts back-to-back on no sleep.  I don't know why I'm even still awake.

Taking Comet's plans into consideration (it was actually something I was thinking about for the last couple of months), is it awkward for a single party to go to a dine-in restaurant?  Like is there any stigma to it? My plan was to just go get something to eat at like Chipotle or something, maybe catch a new movie, and then walk over to bookstore since there's a Gamestop nearby as well. But I love myself God damn it and I have Chipotle so much they gave me a free meal last Wednesday. There's a shit load of dine-in places nearby but I never really see anybody by themselves in those.

It's only as awkward as you make it, I do it pretty frequently.  I'm not going to miss out on good food just because of some arbitrary social clause.

Where on earth is listing that as an SAS scarf?

Google images and Amazon are I guess.  I've never heard it called that until now though.

Yeah, 9 at night? What are you a middle aged married couple that just had a kid?

"I'm having dinner with my boyfriend later"
I'm sure reacting like that to her bullshit excuse will have her drop to her knees and suck your dick.

The internet told me women only date jerks, so obviously yes it would work.

For fucks sake man.

I like this point in particular.

I've been saying this shit to him for years now and having to repeat myself gets really fucking annoying. Its the reason why and everyone else on this forum treats him like complete shit now, he won't take ANY advice.

The way he is towards women is not okay.

I remember all his posts on bnet a long time ago, and I admit I spent time replying seriously on it in the past.  Never again.

Humans are just social creatures by nature, so it isn't something to be ashamed of when you feel the need for companionship.

Definitely not. It's hard to not sound like a preachy neckbeard about this subject, I totally get why people enjoy being in a relationship.

Huh.

Cause I was fairly certain the weebs were the ones popping off and going all Columbine

I thought Columbine happened because of MTV?

Don't believe the lies. Both watched Ninja Scroll right before going to school

"In this anime film, Jubei, a highly skilled ninja, is coerced into slaying his own clan of warriors. After begrudgingly killing his fellow swordsmen, he becomes a roving hired assassin. During his travels, he must face off against an organization of demonic ninjas known as the Devils of Kimon, who are plotting to take power of Japan's government. The Devils will stop at nothing, and have the power to annihilate entire villages. Now, only Jubei and a shogun spy named Dakuan can stop them."

Oh. My. God.

Some people have no need for self-realisation via independence because they're already who they want to be.

I can admire that.  Who I am isn't conducive to relationships, so it doesn't work that easily for me in practice.  If I dated again, that person would have to be the most patient motherfucker in existence - or better yet - be on the same track I'm on.

Just don't get involved with women like that. Complete waste of time.
Ye but you have to make sure you don't end up a lonely little shit, like me.

Who says being on your own is neccessarily a bad thing? You can be productive as fuck by yourself.

So true.  Being able to focus on yourself and what you want is important and something you can't always do to a full extent in a relationship.  The best decisions I've made in life were made while being single.

I remember almost nothing about this show aside from the setup.  Just another mecha really, I was glad to finish it and move on.

With a good diet and that much cardio you could be shredded.
It's said that 60% of gains come from a diet.
Muscles are made in the kitchen. I love hiking too, I got into it when I discovered a really cool trail 5 minutes from my house leading up to a waterfall.

Sounds like the trail that got me back into it, haha.

I'm starting long-distance trekking this summer, maintaining muscle would be very hard to do out there unfortunately.  There's no way to keep up with my dietary needs doing long day after another back-to-back, so your body feeds off whatever it can in lieu of that to get what it needs, which means any muscles I'm not consistently using will be cannibalized to repair the ones I am using.  Some people pack protein powder with them to help with that, but I'm trying to be strict with my budget, so I don't know how I feel about staying supplied with it along the way.  I won't have much opportunity to prepare actual meals, I'm limited by calorie dense foods that can be eaten raw or cooked in a small pot.

But absolutely you could start building serious muscle, especially if you start getting into scrambling and such.  It's a major full body workout.

Over 4 or 5 years I went from 230lbs to 170lbs.

I learned to hate gyms when I was younger (hence the 230lbs), so I eventually just started hiking more.  5 miles reasonable miles kicked my ass, then I started going up mountains and could push it to 8, my best record at this point is 18 miles with two mountain passes and a summit in 10 hours.  I'm working towards comfortable 20 mile days regardless of elevation gain, some point this summer I'll be pushing for 30-40 mile days.

I don't worry too much about my diet, but my staples are peanut butter, tuna, vegetables, nuts, and granola.  I'll have a protein shake after a rough day occasionally.  My diet on trail is atrocious but necessary to gain calories.

I'm not shredded or anything, but the results have been great.
