I still believe Planetes is one of the best anime ever made, and it's not simply because I'm a sucker for hard sci-fi.

What's the point in GMOs when our world is going to end up being too hot for vegetation?
One of the advantages to widespread GMO adoption is that this can be mitigated.
GMOs can be designed to survive in warmer climates with less water, allowing for farming to be viable in areas where it would otherwise be impossible.

Because I'm CIA. I'm Central. I'm Intelligence. I'm Agency. I'm a manlet, I'm a babylegs. I'm a shorty, beltyboy, aircraft autist, inquirer, I'm baned. I'm that arsetta bandit. I call Ittin. I'm a cargo pants arsed, hookedbelting, shitcuffing, mask puller. I grab the prize with Maimen. I power stand at the other side of the plane. I am Moses in the parting of the hooded dudes. I crash and I am crashed. I ask and I'm punched, I shoot them and throw them and every single hired gun's had the fucking worst flight of his life. And I'm Not, a hothead. if there's one big bastard in this flight plan, it's this large firestarter here. So congratulations, Bane. You got yourself caught.

I know Aidan Gillen. He lived in a richer area of New York at one point. I bumped into him in a sandwich shop. He was shooting the shit with the sandwich maker when I came up to give my order. I got a standard turkey on wheat with mayo and pepper jack. It was something very simple. All the while Aiden was laughing to himself and pointing at me occasionally mumbling, "Is this guy serious?"

I wasn't sure why I guess he was displeased about me ordering or what I ordered. After I got my sandwich I sat down and ate while he just leaned back into the windowed meat display and watched me. When I got up to throw the trash away he stopped me and offered his hand. I was shy because I knew who he was but he introduced himself anyways. When I shook his hand the other hand came out of his pocket holding a tazer which he used on my neck. When I fell to the ground tense I soiled myself. He laughed, "This guy." And started kicking me in the face quoting TDKR over and over, "YOU'RE A BIG GUY, YOU'RE A BIG GUY."

I woke up in the hospital next to a vase of broccoli labeled, "From Aiden."

Now every year he shows up to my families Thanksgiving dinner, uninvited, unannounced, and just eats, laughs to himself, and then leaves. Last year he murdered my mother. I fear what hurricane Aiden will bring this year..

In early July of 2014, Mr. Gillen is reported to have ripped a young cancer patient in a mask in half while yelling "WHO PAID YOU" while on a trip to an Irish hospital. After the incident Mr. Gillen attributed the incident to a bad migraine and said the victim was close to death and that he was "doing them a favor". An odd statement considering Mr. Gillen's suspected payment of mercenary groups in coincidence with raids on cancer wards.

Are we posting our banepastas now?

Even director Christopher Nolan wasn't safe from Gillen's twisted vision.

"One time I yelled 'cut' and Gillen turned to me and said 'what if someone just stood in the middle of an airstrip and yelled cut? Maybe the mercenaries with friends would forget their trained routine of getting on board' My jaw hit the floor and it never really came back up. That's when I thought, is he getting in character to play CIA, or is CIA something that's been in him all along?"

"Sometimes i would go to look into the cameras, and I noticed Gillen had put something in the lens. It was stuff like 'What if cameras were flight plans? Would you call it in with the agency?' and 'Lights. Camera. Bane?' I had to ask him to stop because I was getting too scared to direct."

Why are normies so stupid? They can't understand the nuances of the meme or even spend 5 minutes researching where it came from. Baneposting outdates the alt-right by like 3 years, and it was never political, even now.

Baneposting was never funny

>thoughtcrime

Hate speech sounds like a tremendously stupid "crime," in my opinion. I would assume that people are allowed freedom of thought, even if those thoughts aren't the most pleasant ones, so punishing those who encourage unpleasant modes of thought seems more than a little totalitarian.
The "inciting violence" argument is bullshit. He's not giving orders or anything of the sort. If someone decides to go out and commit a crime after listening to hate speech, it's their own fault--they were the one who committed the crime. Law hinges on the fact that people are allowed to make their own decisions.
