No it isn't. This is one of the stupidest things in the world. Sex and violence are two totally different things. I'm not interested in watching people have sex in a show or a movie. It's uncomfortable and serves no purpose, and if it's relevant to the plot that these two characters sleep with each other just imply it and do it gracefully like they did with older movies.
