Yeah, im a liiiiittle cynical but theres hardly any real gameplay of it apart from a few seconds so maybe ill be pleasantly surprised.

Every shooter is a paint job with that logic
As far as CoD and BF go, yes.

It'll be hard to do a paintjob of a modern shooter in a WW1 setting.

Aircraft for example will function completely differently due to their lack of lock on missiles and AA will have to be done via flak emplacements. Two seater planes have already been confirmed as back gunners are present meaning that you'll have to rely on your teammates to be your counter measure.
So....a paint job? A plane's a plane.

Incomplete painted shit with overpriced shit droplets

Theyre gonna have to come up with lots of gadgets and such to make such a bland setting good

Nothing short of a new engine can fix the current terrible engine and floaty gameplay though, unless they go back to 1.5
I mean naturally I'm sure it'll probably be more like a modern shooter type of deal, with a WWI skin, but it is nice that they're trying something different

It does look cool
EH, its just a paint job

Watched it muted the first time. Of course they would play some popular song, not like its cliche or anything

what a shit opinion

time to block

Sunken king had me crying, I only enjoyed the dragon fight.

Youre the first person who I know that didnt really enjoy the DLC too, huh
Stuff was pretty and so on, its just the enemy design was awful. Ivory Kings lore was great.
The Ivory King was a badass, but yeah, my only real problem was how badly designed the enemy were.

Bit surprised you didn't like the bosses, I mean Smelter Demon V2 wasnt good but Ash knight and the Dragon I loved, they had to be the most tense fights I did.

YouTube

Plus this guy kicked my ass so many times.
They were tense, no doubt. My issue with Sinh was that he was in the air 90% of the time.

And i cant deny learning Fume's patterns wasnt enjoyable but i dont like abusing I-frames, rolling straight through attacks is just ehhh even though mastering it feels great. Alonne had some ridiculous hitboxes with his katana.

All of the boss music stood out from the vanilla game.

My Professional review of the crown DLC's for DS2

Spoiler
They fucking sucked, mostly. Hey, here's a great idea! Lets take the worst bits of souls...AND MAKE DLC OUT OF IT!.

Crown of the Sunken King especially, i have NEVER played anything as shitty as it. EVER. Enemies are immune to Poise break even with Ultra Greatswords. Narrow hallways and mandatory suicide runs.

Then the bosses, Mytha summons Velstadt, thats totally fucking fair. Grave robbers....oh boy, i hate PvP in souls games and i would always play offline, it just boils down to who can abuse I-frames the best. Sinh was shit as well.

Then Crown of the Old Iron King. Thankfully normal enemies werent immune to poise break. Breathtaking vistas.
Somewhat better level design, death pits aside. Fuck Maldron. Fuck the blue smelter demon, whoever designed the smelter demon should get cancer and die.

The infamous Fume Knight boiled down to me learning how to abuse I-frames. In short, it sucked. Alonne was the same.

Finally Crown of the Ivory King. Better level design than the other 2, incredible vistas. Loved it. Souls needs more big open areas. Enemies could be staggered half the time. Spear guys had some 5/5 tracking. They threw more than one at you usually. Those idle women sitting around were a nice touch.

Fuck Maldron, 10/10 tracking with his fucking lance. Like double the normal player health. I hate PvP. First tiger boss fight sucked, I-frame abuse or death. Second tiger fight with 2 tigers, i wasnt even going to so i *gasp* cheated. Lets not even talk about the run to get there. 'Horse fuck alley'. Again, 10/10 tracking with their goddamn charges.

Lastly the Ivory King fight. That drop down to the Old Chaos was something else, loved it. His appearance through the gate was cool too. Fight wasnt anything noteworthy.
tl;dr Sunken king is the worst piece of crap ive ever had the displeasure of playing. Old Iron King was pretty but sucked mostly. Ivory King was the prettiest and was tolerable mostly. Every. Single. Boss fight. Sucked.

I think Infinite Warfare could have potential if what ive heard is right, far, faaaaaaaaaar future which sounds neato.

But then again their games are so full of 'bro' shit that its hard to take anything seriously.

And uhhh...CoD4? It was k, wouldnt buy it though.
