Estiniens sudden reappearance was a little weird though after what happened. Also how important is upgrading Gae Bolg, im lv.56 and i havent bothered with it because of the FATE locked materials.

Im curious Verb, do you apply the same logic to game engines? Many are based on older engines like Source is on Quake, which was made by id software.

I tried to learn it onetime but gave up, always smashed buttons to get through it fast. Whats worse is you get Wakkas ultimate weapon from it if you perfect it.
FFX has a ridiculously grindy endgame now that i think about it
So much time spent grinding in Zanarkand ruins.
i would put it on max speed and spend a good hour or two grinding only to still get wiped instantly on phase 2 by that cheap bitch

So I've now beaten Half Life 2 as well as the episodes. A few thoughts. Maybe I'm in the minority, but I enjoyed Episode 2 better than the main game. I can't really put my finger on it (environment change/aesthetics?), but I just found it better. I really do feel bad for all those who have waited for Episode 3/Half Life 3 for so long. With the cliffhanger at the end of Episode 2 it leaves so many questions unanswered. I can tell that fans just want a conclusion, but the chances are that they'll never get one.
EP2 is the pinnacle of what Valve is capable of. Unironically a masterpiece as far as video games go T B H
