The punishment in Heavensward was fine, because it was recoverable. You drop Astral Fire but still have plenty of time on Enochian? The fastest way to keep it up would be to hardcast a Blizzard I and then Blizzard IV and start over with Astral Fire III. But now if you drop anything either by accident or through mechanics of the fight itself, you're fucked.
I feel like youre punished too much for dropping your rotation considering it could be up to 30 seconds before you can get going again. Potencies are supposed to make up for it but i dont feel like its enough. I meant losing Enochian and with it the phases completely. Though yeah its not so bad in what ive played of HW, im still missing EX's and Alexander stuff. Worst i can think of is Diabolos Hollow but thats mostly due to other players. Probably not even close to Shinryu from what ive read. You two could see the light and come over to the Bard side.
Tbh its probably the most fun ive had with a DPS but it also gets exhausting. How anyone plays it with a controller is beyond me.
