You can find a full, detailed breakdown of exactly what was said and why Destiny fans are frustrated by heading here. The quick version, however, is that there is a Collector's Edition of the upcoming The Taken King expansion that includes exclusive in-game emotes and armor shaders, but also includes the base Destiny game as well as its previous expansions. For Destiny fans who want that content, they will have to purchase a lot of content they already own. Fans were confused by this, and in an interview with Eurogamer, Smith defended the pricing and content, but in a sarcastic way that was read by fans as being dismissive.
Today, however, Bungie and Smith posted a large update on its website apologizing for the comments writing, "Reading my interview with Eurogamer and imagining it came from some random developer of a game I love – that random developer looks like an Asshat. But that Asshat was me – and those words rightfully anger you. I'm sorry." The update also reveals that the content Destiny's most dedicated fans want – the in-game emotes and armor shaders – will be available for $20 without the the need to re-buy the original game and the DLC.
Access to that content depends on what aspects of Destiny you already own or have pre-purchased, so I suggest checking out the blog update to see when the access to the content will be available for you. Alongside the change in distribution, Bungie also has plans to reward players who have been on board with Destiny since day one in the form of permanently exclusive items.
Bungie says today's update is the first of two and will have more details tomorrow. I...... I'm not sure if this is supposed to be good or a trick.

i liked it though... for the 5 hours i played it...
It was a decent game, frankly IMO it's the only decent game that I will always play. Hopefully Titanfall 2 is better.
it never grabbed me. the jumpy bullshit really got to me after a while. plus my Titan never felt powerful, i felt like a bigger target then normal.
im kinda dreading FPS games now because of that. all the hyper-mobility they are trying to do.
fucking Halo jumpers.
I does get boring once you played it over again.

I can't even go to the campaign mode anymore, it's random shit now. The original was shit but at least it starts from the beginning to the end for new players, now it's just random complete shit. Tell me that Respawn is going back to singleplayer campaign?

I fucking hate Luke Smith, Bungie is definitely going to die pretty soon, I mean just look at the fanbase. I bet my money that Activision is going to realize that they fucked up big time. Honestly, it just looked silly. I don't understand the franchise anymore. It was so popular because of how "super spec-ops tactical" it made itself out to be, and now it's dudebros jumping 30 ft in the air, doing tricks, and shooting mecha-tanks.
I agree, after BO2 everything went to shit (yes I enjoyed BO1, MW3 was disappointing but it wasn't a bad game, and BO2 is a great game to me.)

It looks like a jumbled mess. With Battlefront and Halo 5 will COD be dethroned this year? It's still going to sell millions based on the title alone. If it were another WWII or Cold War game I would definitely buy it.
If COD keeps up with this futuristic bullshit, there is no hope for COD. UNLESS it goes back to WW2.
