Since there's barley any good games coming, I was hoping if you guys can recommend me a game, I don't have a PS so recommend any old and new games that are only Xbox and PC.

Gaming / Re: The Flood from Halo
« on: January 09, 2016, 05:52:23 PM »
The Flood is returning. They're the over-arching antagonist of the series. Everything is building up to them returning for the final test of humanity, and humanity's reclamation of the Mantle of Responsibility should they succeed.
They're still actually present within the universe, albeit in containment facilities. They're present outside of the universe also, in a much larger scale than what we've witnessed in Halo CE - Halo 3.

The San'Shyuum likely won't return because there's less than a thousand of them left alive. However, there was a San'Shyuum Warrior in the latest novel by Joseph Staten titled 'Shadow of Intent'.

There's also 6 Halo Installations left, although one of them had its surface glassed, and another had its control room ejected.

tl;dr yes the flood will be back

I doubt 343i is going to have the flood return.
Of course they will. There's no reason to believe otherwise.

Everything so far has been a build up to their return in full force.

It could be a possibility, but will have to wait and see if Halo 6 or if another "Halo Comic" tells us about the floods return.

Gaming / Re: GOTY 2015 (This is one of the many official GOTY awards)
« on: January 03, 2016, 03:18:25 PM »
TBH the GOTY title is pretty worthless, there are so many different outlets that all do their own award shows for this Fallout 4 has likely received a couple from other places. Shit needs to be centralized so we don't have like thirty different games claiming to have received the GOTY title every year.

The whole thread i made was pretty pointless tbh.

Welcome to December third of 2015.

Also it's just one of many "official" GOTY awards.

1. I didn't think it would be that old

2. Thanks for the correction.

« on: January 02, 2016, 04:51:37 PM »
I don't understand why this whole gun issue is becoming a big problem. Taking guns away isn't going to solve anything, people can still kill even without guns.
Sure, but guns do make it significantly easier, no?
What easier to kill? Sure but lets be honest, would any criminal want to take the chance of giving up their gun? Also we have bows and other range weapons, its not just guns.
That's why we confiscate illegal guns owned by criminals and make it harder for them to get firearms rather than expect them to just turn in their guns.

And the amount of deaths homicides involving other range weapons than guns is miniscule.

The only reason why he have deaths from firearms is because of peoples choices, do guns really kill people? its a tool, its like saying a knife kills people, its a tool, the only reason your killing people with a gun is not the guns fault, its peoples actions.

Fuck I forgot how badly they animated him. It's like they didn't even realize he was a robot; his limbs move like he's swinging around wet noodles.

>Calling Grievous a robot

He's a cyborg, also Star Wars is not supposed to be realistic.
His body is robotic. A cyborg is essentially a robot

Partially, a robot is basically following orders without questions, a cyborg may look robotic but he has a brain, he can think,   he can choose what he wants to do, Robo-Cop is a good example. Yes he started off as being a robot but in time he started to change and fine out who he really is.
lol i know what the difference is

it doesn't matter if he's a cyborg or a robot. his body is robotic, therefore he looks and moves in a more robotic way.

Point taken.
