meh. her face does not look good on that box art, imo.
Better?
much. idk man, looks super similar to Uncharted 2 right now to me.
Since Tomb Raider came first before Uncharted, i don't think it really matters that much imo.

Never really cared for tomb raider
I've been a Tomb Raider fan for a long time, so this is just the hype for me (if some people are tomb raider fans in sep7agon.)

RELEASE DATE: November 10, 2015 TrailersStorySpoiler In her first adventure, Lara Croft was forged into a true survivor, but she glimpsed a deeper, secret world. In the next chapter of her journey, Lara must use her survival skills and wits and ultimately accept her destiny as the Tomb Raider.
After she encountered an immortal being, Lara spent a year researching eternal life to both understand and prove what she saw. This research leads on her on a quest to find Kitezh, a mythical city both founded and lost in what is now Russia's Siberian tundra. Character'sSpoiler Main CharactersSpoiler Lara Croft Jonah Maiava Jacob Ana Sofia EnemiesGroups ArtworksMusicsGameplaySpoiler During Microsoft's E3 2015 Gameplay Demo, it was shown that Rise of the Tomb Raider retains many familiar elements from the previous game. Lara is shown using dual Icepicks to ascend cliff walls, and jumping or leaping to catch an adjoining walls include quick time button prompts for a successful action.
There are also returning elements of rapidly maneuvering through dangerous terrain, and having to platform between crumbling ledges and around explosions or debris.
When out of danger, Lara will still be able to scavenge and craft, as seen by her making a crude bow, and killing an elk for supplies. LocationsSpoiler The settings of Rise of Tomb Raider appears to take place in more locations than previously guessed. In addition to the frozen peaks seen in the initial trailer, a large ruined castle that's hidden from the harsh cold is also seen, and is possibly the place Lara is looking for. Also seen are similarly lush looking ruins (likely a different ruin entirely given her change of clothing), and an underground tomb complete with a tower and waterfalls.
In other scenes we see locations such as an icy factory-looking area full of girders and pipes, an underground cave system complete with minecarts laden with gold, and underwater wrecks.
According to Franchise Director Noah Hughes, Rise of the Tomb Raider will feature a lot more main story tombs and even more optional tombs hidden off the beaten path. The development team realized fans loved the combat of Tomb Raider, but wanted tomb exploration more than anything else.
CombatSpoiler While little has been revealed in way of fighting enemies, it has become apparent that Lara is not alone in her new adventure. During the gameplay demo, various scenes where shown of Lara fending off assailants, and using her stealth takedowns from behind, as well as a new underwater takedown, presumably to defeat enemies standing near water.
Rise of the Tomb Raider will allow players to take out enemies without killing them. A new system allows Lara Croft to craft items on the fly.
Additionally, Rise of the Tomb Raider will give a little more attention to the wild animals of the area. An E3 2015 demo showed a developer fighting a large bear in a lengthy battle. WeaponsGameplay, Combat and Location info was a CAP (Copy and Paste)

Azu already has a thread up...
Spoiler I haven't played them either. The BlizzCon one or the one on the internet?
BlizzCon version.
Oh well, at least this is a lot cleaner to see.

The original warcrafts were solid games.
WoW is shit by comparison.
I liked WoW (WOTLK was the last WoW game I had ever played.). I never understood why some fans (like you) hate it, I just never understood why, care to explain.

So I was just watching the Reach Legendary Ending. Never played it. But probably will when BC comes out. Don't care how much people say it sucks, I wanna play it. Anyways. Why is that ending in 2589 when even Halo 5 takes places in 2058?
Reach doesn't have a legendary ending. Halo 5 takes place in 2558

The arena is a blast. Reminds me a lot of Halo 1.
Why BR starts aren't the the regular I'll never understand. For a game that wants to be competitive so bad it forces its players to spend the first 20 seconds of each life sprinting for that one BR.
"Why BR starts aren't the regular I'll never understand" Didn't every Halo "Except for 2" start a match with an assault rifle and pistol?
in CE yes thats true, but the CE pistol was the strongest default weapon the series has ever had. Halo 3 had both BR and AR starts but only retards wanted AR starts. there are some obvious exceptions; AR starts are usually desirable on maps like standoff and sandbox, but only because those maps are extremely easy to set up control on if the enemy doesnt spawn with BRs. Reach and H4 had loadout based systems which let the players choose which starting weapons they wanted.
"Have you ever played a halo game"
Like the time in Halo CE when John is in space and curtana says "its over" and John says "No, I think we are just getting started"
Or the time in Halo 2 when in the begging Thel is getting branded as a heretic for not protecting installation 04? And when John is getting his new improved Mark VI?
Halo 3 when The Arbiter, John, and Sargent Johnson are on the Ark, and when Spark attacks Johnson, the arbiter, and chief for realizing that they are going to destroy his installation?
Halo 3 MP: "Halo 3 had both BR and AR starts but only retards wanted AR starts" Haven't played Halo 3 in a long time, so I might of forgotten. (yes I know the MCC covers it up, but that game is so broken that I can't even play it anymore or even get the menu to fucking load up and start, fucking 343)
Halo Reach: Forgot it had loadouts (As I said before haven't played Halo Reach in a long time)
Halo 4: I feel so stupid, *facepalm* how I didn't realize it had loadouts is beyond me.
So yes, to answer your question I had played every single Halo.
uh... ok
"Have you ever played a halo game" I see you edit it, my mistake.

Which part? The entire part.
In Halo 4, the modest opening to the Reclaimer saga, felt like the beginning of a new direction for Halo. But with Guardians it feels like they got a new writer and he said "Fuck all of y'all, I write comics 'n shit." And changed everything. Like, everything that happened in Spartan Ops is thrown out the window, Cortana's death is made irrelevant within 2 missions...
Jut feels like a drastic step in a different direction (ironically, the direction is the same that Bungie's Halo was going in.)
I can agree with that.
Brian Reed was a mistake.
THE SAME GUY WHO DID FUCKING SPARTAN OPS!?!
Well that explains it.
Yeah. Spartan Ops was a contained story so it fares much better than an actual feature storyline.
Not really, Spartan Ops didn't impress me one bit, It was just so meh that i didn't even care what happen. Ok i'll admit, Spartan Ops was actually a decent story, but nothing really great. Also this is the same guy who did escalation 8 - 23 (which were really just sooooo meh). They need to get rid of Brian Reed. They did it with Neil David, so do the same with Brian Reed (Get Chris Schlerf to do it), Also Microsoft needs to stop shoe whoring Halo for rush.

Fuck it, the more i think about Halo 5, the more i think about how disappointing the story was. (and how it should have been)
IMO the only interesting info about the story are the guardians.
Cortona turing evil was a bit cliche, it's ok but not really jaw dropping.
Voice acting in this game are not the best, seriously stop with this dramatic voice drama, OLD Bungie got it right.
The only interesting characters are Buck, Locke, John, Fred (I'll always like him even in Fall of Reach, fight me.), and The Arbiter (although he kinda voices somewhat bad)
AND FUCK IT, a fight with Master Chief or Locke would of been cool as well.
Also I kinda wish the flood is back, getting really sick of fighting prometheans.
IMO The story is not bad but gets a 6/10, trust me its not jaw dropping.

A rookie (Osiris Team)
>ONI's top assassin (Locke) >Genius in Sangheli interaction and veteran of a mission to the fucking Ark (Vale) >Top Tier ODST and survivor of the battle of Mombasa (Buck) >Woman who joined the UNSC after surviving living on a glassed fucking planet (Tanake) >"rookie team"
Maybe using the word "rookie team" was a bit redundant.

Nah, they're pretty much equal minus the experience and training the S2's have. That's what I have been lead to believe.
See, Deathstroke? It's not unreasonable to expect some sort of confrontation between these two "equals".
I can see where you're coming from, but still.
A rookie (Osiris Team) vs Someone who has experience (Blue Team), I just don't see how Locke can take on someone like Master Chief.
>Buck >Rookie
kys
Fuck I actually forgot about Buck, ok fine maybe not all of team osiris is not bad.

For me I just care about Halo having a great story. You and everyone else, bud. This is the problem, though:
Almost everyone, save Roman, would be okay if Master Chief wasn't the main character so long as we got a great story instead. But we didn't. We got a shitty story, AND we only got to play as Chief for 3 missions.
Shitty story? That's a debate, for me i thought the story was good. And as for Chief, thinking about it kind of thought that maybe Chief should have like 7 missions ( if we do the math, that would mean that Locke would have 8 missions, 8 + 7 = 15 missions in total, pretty even for everyone) .
