I'll read first strike after I'm done with fall of reach, also I heard that the flood is meh so idk.
The flood will answer any questions you had about CE- in terms of where your supplies and troops were coming from. It also has the perspective of Zuka 'Zamamee, talked with hunting down John across the ring and the perspective of Jenkins after he is infected.
The last one is kinda creepy, when you read it. But I fuckin' loved the book, and I'm glad someone took the time to think 'Hold on. What's happening between all these missions Chief is going on?'
It also describes the game's environments and encounters accurately, which is pretty cool.
Also, perspective of one of the hunters that chief fights.
Sounds like a book I would read, thanks m8

I loved it, but if you don't love the first game as much as I do and have played it you might find it a bit boring.
