so I was driving around listening to gabber in my murdered out srt-6, and the car behind me has these two women in it

they lightly honk their horn at me when im at a red light and so I look in the side view mirror to be greeted with a wave, so of course I wave back

then the woman in the passenger seat makes a weird spinning motion with her hand at me

what happen

Looks like they want to get laid with you.
they looked like 30 year olds who probably were married

I would probably ignore them, if they wave at you then thats fine.
yeah of course if they wave at me that's fine lol

but what the fuck did they want?

WHAT WAS THE SPINNY HAND THING

WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE

I have no idea what those people want, probably looking for trouble.

God help the fans (and DICE) if it launches with the same clusterfucky problems as BF4.
If it's running on frostbite 3, not even god will save them from the cripplingly bad netcode ._.

If EA and DICE fuck this one, then Star Wars games are dead, lets just hope that Episode 7 is good.

Dibs on imperial guard.

Wtf is the Emperor going to do though? Decay on his golden throne?

Well the emperor needs to be alive, otherwise it would hurt the imperial army.

sad to tell you this though but i changed this to a thread :(

>implying 90% know jack shit about 40k

I'm afraid this will be the case.

Perhaps a better option is to have a 40k thread, I'm not sure if there are enough of us to run a forum game off it >_>

True, and due to the fact that b.net has more people here, perhaps a thread would work better then a union game.

Indeed, well since we already have one going if you want to repurpose this one rather than making a new one then that'd be cool <.<
I can debate/discuss/explain 40k fluff pretty much all day lol.

Repurpose this one, i'm fine with it 8)

Well there is no need for me to chop up the OP if you are happy to edit the title/snip the post stuff but if you want me to do it then I'll happily go ahead >.>

Decided to edited this, this thread is now officially a 40k thread, your welcome  8)

« on: January 29, 2015, 07:41:38 PM »

Which Prometheans we talking about?

Been a while since I looked up the lore but there is actually a difference between Forerunner Prometheans and the robot ones we see in the game. The former can crack planets in half.

Read the title, the ones from halo.

Gaming / Re: Prometheans (Halo) vs A Space Marine
« on: January 29, 2015, 07:40:32 PM »

Well seeing that team crimson beat them easily they dont seem that tough

Don't forget that a single Space Marine can train reck anyone, that was proven when titus fought the army of Daemons and killed there elder daemon, all by himself and he did the impossible.
wut? im saying the space marine would rekt promethenas
lol, sorry, i guess i went a bit to nerdy with the space marines.

Bruva, one can never go too nerdy with space marine fanboying.

OT: Promethean gets turned into dust.
Space Marines regularly fight Necrons and at least don't all die. Hell, sometimes they even win!

Prometheans are like... hmm eldar tier enemies. Not a lot of them, kind of stupid and they have weird shitty weapons with the occasional holyfuckthat'sdangerous one.

If you pit a marine against a promethean, promethean is toast.
If you pit a squad of marines against equal or greater numbers of prometheans - prometheans are toast with some casualties for the SM.

Mostly it would come down to what weapons they have can pierce adamantium/ceramite/plasteel Mk8 Aquila armour which would have to be pretty ogrepowered to compete with 40K's grotesquely OP everything.

A good match up though, probably the only thing in Halo that could give them a run for their money short of the forerunners themselves.

I figure they be a good match to start from, but due to the superhuman powers the emperor did to the space marines, those prometheans would be totally fucked.
