http://www.gamesradar.com/mgs-5-voice-actor-says-kojima-productions-has-been-dissolved/?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=gamesradar-owned&hootPostID=cc600c01ba799119572434404a3a048dIt's been a while since we've heard anything about the convoluted Konami and Kojima situation that led to the removal of the Kojima Productions name from all Metal Gear Solid branding. While Kojima's name has been returned to Metal Gear Solid 5, a tweet from Akio Otskuka, Snake's Japanese voice actor, says that Kojima Productions as a whole has been "dissolved."
As reported and translated by Kotaku, Otskuka states “Kojima Productions got dissolved and due to the team’s hard effort, the game is just about finished. This is no exaggeration, but it’s bound to be a supreme masterpiece! I can’t help it if I want to say, ‘I kept you waiting.’ (lol) Even if this is the last time... MGS lives forever!”
Otskuka previously tweeted his support for Metal Gear Solid 5 and urged fans not to boycott it after US voice actress Donna Burke announced that Kojima had been fired from Konami. There has still been no official comment from Kojima or Konami on the situation but at least we've still got MGS 5 which clearly has Kojima all over it. Complete with cardboard box surfing down hills.

Got say, It's a decent game. The only things I didn't like about it was the bosses health, and my base being a farming simulator, fuck I hope this virus doesn't affect MGSV. Thanks Micro transactions *middle finger*

http://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo-way/2015/07/12/422432159/satoru-iwata-president-and-ceo-of-nintendo-dies-at-55Satoru Iwata, the president and CEO of Nintendo for more than a decade, has died at the age of 55.
"Nintendo Co., Ltd. deeply regrets to announce that President Satoru Iwata passed away on July 11, 2015 due to a bile duct growth," the video game company announced Sunday night in a very brief statement.
Iwata assumed the mantle of chief executive at Nintendo in 2002, replacing Hiroshi Yamauchi and becoming only the fourth president in the company's 125-year history — and the first outside the Yamauchi family to serve in that role.
But Iwata's relationship with the company began much earlier, when he started at HAL Laboratory, a video game developer closely associated with Nintendo. As Wired reports:
Iwata was a rarity in the gaming industry: a corporate president whose background was in game programming. He joined the Tokyo-based developer HAL Laboratory fresh out of college in the early 80s, and immediately began working as a programmer, helping to create classic games like Balloon Fight and the Kirby's Dream Land series for Nintendo. Since taking the top spot at Nintendo, Iwata's fortunes with the company had been somewhat up and down. He oversaw not only the disappointment of the underwhelming GameCube system, but also the development and release of the handheld Nintendo DS and the Wii console, both of which have been partly credited with leading a turnaround of sorts at the company in the 2000s.
Iwata's health had suffered in the past two years, NBC News reports:
Iwata had undergone surgery in June 2014 to remove a growth on his bile duct, causing him to miss the company's annual shareholders meeting. In a statement to shareholders at the time, Iwata said his doctors were confident that they had detected the growth early and that he had no symptoms from the growth. Iwata had returned to his duties in October of last year. Despite signs of recovery then, Iwata recently missed this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo, an important annual conference in the video game industry.
Nintendo has not yet announced a successor for Iwata.

I was thinking of getting PW (Peace Walker) until PO came in, and I don't have a PS VITA. Also I want to get into BBs (Big Boss) story, so is PO canon or not canon, if it's not canon then i'll go straight to PW.

Come on, think about it. As a cyborg it means you can run, think, and jump faster then a normal human can, we can become the improved race. Anyone who rejects this idea of being an cyborg needs more education.

http://notallowedto.com/the-new-american-flag-u-s-citizens-sign-petition-for-rainbow-flag/The rainbow flag, commonly the gay pride flag and LGBT pride flag, is a symbol of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) pride and LGBT social movements. The flag is used as a symbol of gay pride and is now used worldwide.
The US Supreme Court has ruled that same-sex marriage is a legal right across the United States. The ruling brings to an end more than a decade of bitter legal battles.
new flag The Confederate flag was torn from its pole by an activist less than 24 hours after the president sang Amazing Grace. A cartoon in five panels, side-by-side, shows a Confederate flag lowered as a rainbow flag is raised. On the surface, the image appears to capture the intense battles oppressed groups have overcome in recent days, marking a celebratory victory for all. In reality, that is far from the case.
President Barack Obama said :
The ruling was a victory for America. When all Americans are treated as equal, we are all more free.
According to recent reports more than 10,000 people have signed a petition to change American flag to rainbow flag.
new american flag The New American Flag – The Rainbow Flag “A lot of people are offended by the American flag, I’ll sign this shiyyt man. I support the new American flag for the new world order. We’re gonna put up a new American flag over the capital to signify the new world order” says Desmond Balim an individual who signed a petition.
With many supporters of flying the Confederate flag in retreat or temporarily in hiding, now would be a fitting time for Congress to right an egregious, 150 year-old wrong. That’s where the American Flag Protection Act (AFPA) of 2015 comes in. AFPA would ban federal, state and local governments, as well as any organization receiving federal funds, from flying a Confederate banner from any building, site or facility.
Under AFPA’s “Posthumous Amnesty” provisions, all Confederate soldiers are pardoned for their treason against the United States, an act of compassionate forgiveness to be marked by the display of the Star-Spangled Banner alone over their graves. And for those who still sing from the states’ rights hymnal, the American Flag Protection Act operates no differently than the expansion of Medicaid under Obamacare. States can always show their CSA flags with pride by choosing to opt-out of federal funding.

http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2015/06/24/7540054.aspxBungie is experiencing a bit of a PR snafu after Destiny: The Taken King's creative director Luke Smith made some sarcastic comments about its upcoming Collector's edition, but it is working to address the controversy.
You can find a full, detailed breakdown of exactly what was said and why Destiny fans are frustrated by heading here. The quick version, however, is that there is a Collector's Edition of the upcoming The Taken King expansion that includes exclusive in-game emotes and armor shaders, but also includes the base Destiny game as well as its previous expansions. For Destiny fans who want that content, they will have to purchase a lot of content they already own. Fans were confused by this, and in an interview with Eurogamer, Smith defended the pricing and content, but in a sarcastic way that was read by fans as being dismissive.
Today, however, Bungie and Smith posted a large update on its website apologizing for the comments writing, "Reading my interview with Eurogamer and imagining it came from some random developer of a game I love – that random developer looks like an Asshat. But that Asshat was me – and those words rightfully anger you. I'm sorry." The update also reveals that the content Destiny's most dedicated fans want – the in-game emotes and armor shaders – will be available for $20 without the the need to re-buy the original game and the DLC.
Access to that content depends on what aspects of Destiny you already own or have pre-purchased, so I suggest checking out the blog update to see when the access to the content will be available for you. Alongside the change in distribution, Bungie also has plans to reward players who have been on board with Destiny since day one in the form of permanently exclusive items.
Bungie says today's update is the first of two and will have more details tomorrow. I...... I'm not sure if this is supposed to be good or a trick.
