My dad's salary is only enough to pay for both of my brothers college tuition and living expenses. Which take up 80% of all the money he makes.
I just do not like it when people lie and then try to brag about it. You are seventeen and are actually trying to make people believe that you bought two $500,000 cars with your own money. Explain all you want how you have $1 million at the age of seventeen without it being given to you by your parents, but you will be lying. Your rich parents are nice and you should be thankful you were born into a wealthy family.
Dad makes $250,000 a yr. he's been making that for a year a half (could be two but I'm not entirely sure on that.) he pays $80,000 a yr for my two brothers colleges. As well as $20,000 to other family members. Then add on paying for our house and living expenses (which I don't know the exact figure.) as well as paying the insurance on all of that, and 4 cars (not including mine.). It took over 8 years for us to save enough money to go to Europe the first time. A P1 is $1.2 Million, and 2013 LP 700-4 costs around $380,000-$415,000. That would mean my dad would have to have not spent a single penny for 5 years. Also my mom has never worked since they married. If we want to get into figures, we can keep going. I'm not bullshitting, and I have a lot of proof of proving myself. Which I don't really have to, as a result of two stubborn dicks on the internet. Also, if I'm being a dick, sorry I'm pissed about something's going on in real life ATM.

To be fair, that's plenty more than other people. I didn't get a dime for school or living expenses and got my first job as soon as I legally could work in California. Getting my school and living expenses covered would have made my life a LOT easier in college. Instead I worked 3 jobs and burnt myself out.
I'm not saying it isn't enough, my dad makes a lot of money now (at least for the last year and a half.) It's just my dad or family doesnf have enough money to pay for any of this, or any of my college. Which I'm fine with, obviously.

Neither was an acquaintance of mine. But all it took was him getting in a petty argument with someone on the internet. Someone who then gathered a bunch of friends and went on to track him down, threaten his mother with rape, contacted his place of work with false complaints trying to get him fired, filed complaints at his college about him misbehaving, had dozens of things delivered at his address, anonymously called and texted him and his family constantly...
You may not be worried about that kind of stuff, but after witnessing all that, I've become pretty reluctant sharing personal information online.
Damn. I got threatening calls, texts, and some other stuff. But the police dealt with that shit so fast lol. I know people could absolutely wreck my shit, and I know there are people on this very forum that are probably capable of doing so. But a lot of my stuff is only verbal and personal matters. Hardly anything is digital for me. My Facebook is basically outdated and worthless so there's nothing to find. Plus, I haven't done anything to anyone to warrant any of it. I don't want to sound like I'm above it. But if someone really wants to find you and all that, they can do it without even an inkling of info. Technology is scary lads

Because some people just don't know when to quit. I've seen it happen firsthand. People getting butthurt and mad at others to the point that they will go out of their way find out as much about them as they can, before harassing them not just on a website, but also on facebook or even in real life. Find out who someone is, and you can get access to their address, phone number, facebook account, friends and family, place of work/education...
The vast majority of people are sensible enough to keep the internet and real life separate. But I've met my fair share of deluded and frantic assholes who would go as far as sending death and rape threats to family members, filing complaints at the person's work and harassing them in real life all over something that happened on the internet.
I've gotten more then a fair share of abuse and threats because of my cars as is. I've experienced it all at this point. But I'm not really afraid, I don't mean to sound tough. It's not like I am hiding anything. You won't find anything bad of or on me. Nothing like that is on the internet

You sometimes get assholes who love to make trouble spill over into the real world, people don't want that to happen.
Unfortunately I've had my facebook posted here a few times by a certain someone, which pissed me off a fair bit to start with. Just because it opens up a vulnerability to the real world <.< It's not that I'm concerned over the things I post online, I just don't particularly want my whole family being dragged into internet drama.
The irony being, that I actually have a fair few people from here and B.net added to it <.<

But after Comms spammed my profile here the first time, I just deleted pretty much all of the information about me that was on there. Like, I don't necessarily understand the issue. A lot of you (at least Icy) knows my full name and all that. It's not like any if you are going to steal anyone's identity, and if your embarrassed of yourself well that's sort of your own issue.
It's the internet though, nothing necessarily matters. If someone wants to be a dick they can, but they don't really get anything from it. Plus you have the option to just leave and be done with it, or make a new account.
You could all go and look and fine me right now, and post pictures or my full name, and I wouldn't give a damn. So why are you all scared of that
