Miami to Atlanta? What kind of trip is that? NYC. There's really only one thing between Miami and Atlanta, Jacksonville. And the only thing to really do in Jacksonville is St. Augustine.
And there's not much to do in Atlanta either besides go to the Aquarium and the Coke Museum.
Go to New York instead
We settled on NYC. Now were gathering people and setting up hotels and what cars were taking
Oh good.
I hope you have fun in Chinatown :p It's great, also be sure to stop by the One World Trade Center and the 9/11 memorial. When I went to New York City in 2010 the WTC was only half built and the memorial wasn't finished yet.
I got to NYC practically every summer so I know the city very well. The 9/11 memorial is something, but the blatant disrespect people have is too infuriating
you seen the WWII memorial in DC? thats a really nice one.
Yessir, I visit DC a lot as well. DuPont Circle is my place. That dunkin donuts right off the metro exit is a place I have many fond memories
i dont frequent DuPont to my knowledge. mostly Union Station and Crystal City. there used to be a Maggie Moos in Crystal City next to the ice skate rink. that was my shit, but they left the area
Is union station the one closest to the china town?
No thats Gallery Place. Union Station has an Amtrak station 'attached' so to speak to it. big underground mall type deal. its only a Redline, east of Gallery.
Ah, I got you

I honestly don't think your car could make it to here in Michigan, anyway.
It definently could lol
>potholes everywhere >Detroit >Black people >Snow Fancy car do not seem to mix.
I doubt there are potholes on the highways
You would be surprised.
I'll take your word for it. But damn, that's bad
It's michigan. Our roads are shit 24/7 due to the snow of the past winter.
How would snow make potholes on Tarmac though?
Like hell if I know. But it does. ._.

Road expands/contracts. Road cracks, road cracks more, somehow a 2 ft crater is formed.
Oh. Is this all over michigan?

Hence why I sent a request straight to McLaren. If they bite, and are willing to do it, then I'll try it out. It's not a simple conversion because of the electric motor. You would lose a lot of the craziness of the car, it's handling is phenomenal as is, but I seem to prefer AWD. It'll also make the launch even more ridiculous. I look at cars this way
FWD is plain and boring RWD is sporadic and fun AWD is just business and speed
AWD on a P1 would be insane, jesus, I probably wouldn't even be able to rival it in my Evo.
It would also give me a huge bonus in grip for track days. Nothing rivals AWD in handling
It's the whole reason I have an Evo, it's the greatest handling rally car to me, and the AWD makes the corners a breeze. can you actually believe that some people run FWD on their rally cars? I've seen people bringing in Volkswagen Golf Rs into a race with FWD and a raised suspension, because these fools think raising it will give it a better handling platform.
Lmfao, I've never heard that. The Evo is what made me love AWD cars. Then when I got the Aventador I knew it was my style. Do I dislike RWD? No, I actually enjoy them to. But if you give me the choice, I'll pick AWD 9 times out of 10. Although i have a weird taste in RWD, for example. I don't like how the 458 drives. But I do enjoy how the Vanquish drives. Yet any other person would tell you that the 458 is the superior RWD car (even though the 12C/650S out perform it :p) Just depends on how a company implement the drive system. I'm sure there is a brilliant FWD car out there. And I know there is trash AWD. I can't stand Audi's for example.

Yo son, if you do end up taking the P1 to NYC via US81, you should totes take an hour detour and let me run a quarter mile on my bike against it.
Deal, what bike do you have
An old Honda CB900. I know I'd lose, but I wanna see how far I can jump before you run me down. The gearing on that bike is ridiculously impressive for acceleration when you're got the dual range sub trans in low. I just need to figure out how to remove the mechanical limiter...
I made a strange request to McLaren a few days ago, I wonder if they'll support me. It'll put me on the map haha
What's that?
First AWD conversion on a P1
That could either be really awesome, or mildly disappointing.
