For example, my father was a POW. He fought on the governments side in the civil war in Nicaragua in the 70's. He was going to be executed, but they could not accuse him of any war crimes (he was an officer) and when they called for his name, he said goodbye to all his friends, as they were periodically being taken out and executed. They took him out of the cell, and at the end of the hallway he saw his mom. She had begged for his life and because they couldn't get him on anything, they let him go.
That's a very short summary, it's a crazy story though.

Also, story time.
In my life, I have never had a bad experience with the police, tonight was no different. Usually, when I do get pulled over, it's by my neighbor who is checking to make sure no one stole one of my cars lol. Unless he is next to me and can clearly see it's me in the car. But today I got pulled over because he saw a kid driving an expensive car. I didn't break any laws, but I understand why he did what he did. Pulled me over, asked for my information, told me he was just checking to make sure I owned the car. Came back, gave me my license back. We talked a bit, casual conversation, let him sit in the passenger seat and talked him through a few things, he took pictures, and we both told eachother to have a safe night.
Cops are cool people, and maybe I'm lucky that there are no asshole cops any where near me. In fact, I've never met anyone that has had bad experiences with cops. With anything. So give them the benefit of the doubt, if your speeding, your speeding. If your driving like a dick, your driving like a dick. They aren't out to get you. Speaking from my perspective.

Ever though of buying a cheap car and restoring it. Mainly play around with a car from a junk yard and see what baby you can give birth to?
Anyway good luck with the Psychology or Minor Route, hope senior year is going good, just prepared to be ass fucked in university with a huge workload. First two years if i remember in big universities are weed out stages where they try to make you fail. Last two years if i remember although hard are more on course with the subject you are taking.
I've never really considered restoring an old car. Most cars I seem to really like aren't older the the 80's. There are exceptions, but still.
And thanks! I'm fine with the increased work load.
Do not need an old car just go to a scrap yard and find some car that you kind of like maybe a newer model of some cheap car and then load it up with some new stuff.
True, and I've added quite a bit onto the Aventador. Probably will do the same with the Huracan. And the P1, can't do anything, wouldn't want to either, other then a conversion to AWD but McLaren declined

Hmmm...well, I'm sure we can find an empty parking lot. You've gotta learn sometime. It's really tamed though, so it'll feel pretty normal, just lower and stiffer then a normal car. Aventador is sort of the same, but I have only let very few people drive it, but none on open roads.
P1 is a different beast, no one will drive it but me
im used to my maxima and your car has like 3x the horsepower, so im sure it won't feel very normal lol.
It will, there are different modes to drive in. You have to get over the initial intimidation and accept it for what it is. And then your fine. Sure it takes getting used to, but your gains in maneuverability and pick up help out. And since all assist are on, your fine.

Umm, I have the three cars I wanted. The P1, Aventador, and the Huracan. The next car I would consider might be the 991 GT3, or even the 918. Unrealistically, I would want to get a P1 GTR. I would get it if I lived in Europe, because of the vast number of tracks I could drive at. But here in Florida we hardly have any worthy of that kind of car. What am I doing now? Waiting to get into college and finishing my senior year of Highschool. I would love to go to any dream school and get my double major in Psychology and Behavioral Neuroscience. After that, I want to travel everywhere and experience what the world has to offer me
