Yeah, I guess. But mostly I put my hair in a ponytail or leave it straight down.

If a girl can pull off a pony tail, it says a lot

Just saying

I've been to the same barber for like all my life. I always call in and he calls me back when it's not busy.

Now that's good service
it helps that i only live 5 minutes away. Plus a man and his barber have a special relationship. If my barber moves country then so do I!

Ironically, my mom has cut my hair since birth. And I'm blessed she actually knows what she's doing. I have never gotten a bad haircut from her.
damn lucky. Lol. If my mother knew how to cut I wouldn't have to spend money getting it trimmed every 2 weeks. although it's only £8 so it's not exactly breaking the bank

It is pretty awesome, and it allows us to talk and mess around haha. It's funny how whenever I bring up that my mom cuts my hair no one says anything bad, times have changed.

Well not just now, but an hour and a half ago. The first time my dad has seen the McLaren, and since he works for Toyota (executive side) it's interesting to hear the comments they made. My dad is on the list of buyers if the FT-1 goes into production

So flood, ask me anything I've had a strange day

Sort of. I'm not obsessed with looking amazing all the time. I just like to look clean, and presentable. Keeping my hair trim, my facial hair also. Taking care of my skin.  Gotta look clean for the bitches.

In regards to fashion, I wear what I like which happens to be a lot of dark colours but I get compliments on the shit I wear so I must be doing something right.

Same, I try to look as clean as possible at all times. I've kind of fallen of that track since my life has slowed down considerably. I do also favor darker colors. I get a haircut on the same day every month, well, a trim.

My style is more noticeable when I wear suits, such as today. Semi-dark blue jacket and pants, white dress shirt, skinny black tie. Clean and simple.
I like wearing suits and dress shirts but I just feel like I'm too young to be rocking that kind of stuff everyday

I mean, your older then me lol.

It's not strange to do so, but I don't wear them nearly as often as I did earlier this year and the year before,
yeahhh... I just feel more comfortable wearing some black slim fit levis and a nice duffle cost. Especially since its winter. Dressing for summer is easy, nice slim jeans and a plain t either black or Gray.

I feel you, if I'm not wearing sweat pants or dress pants, I'm wearing slim jeans grey, black, and tan. It's summer 365 here so what you wear never changes aside from the hoodie every now and then

I care about being the full Elegiac. It involves clothes and grooming. One of the silly little things with which we spend our lives.

I wouldn't call it silly
Really? In the context of our baseless existences?

Yea, it's just a normality

Hypocrite?

What do I mean by this?

Like, do you care about looking good at all times, or would you much rather be comfortable.
Do you care about having some form of fashion, or doing you?

No wrong answers, just curious

Personally, I care about how I look at all times with the exception of when I'm home. If a shirt doesn't look good, or my outfit doesn't match, I'm not wearing it. Suits, same thing. I do keep it clean and simple, and I've been branded a trademark style, which I guess is nice.

The Flood / Re: Anyone ever restored a mid 1900s car?
« on: November 17, 2014, 05:06:22 PM »
You've gotta be able to gauge what restorations are possible with what you have. They'll cost around $5k-8k, but if you know people or have the skills yourself a simple restoration to get it running and somewhat decent isn't very costly. There are a lot of variables.

I have never done a restoration, but I know a few who have

You should come over to the UK and get a job on top gear.

I'd have a heartattack if I ever met Clarkson, Hammond, or May. I'd self combust if I met all three. But I do know you can work on Top Gear in terms of the website. If they ever contacted me to use my P1 you best believe I'm handing it over.

Hammond lives in the next city over from me. If you wanna meet them, just go to the show.

I am going to England in January...

We shall see. I don't know when they film the episodes in the hanger set. But if ever do meet them, I'd be willing to hand over any of my cars so they can do testing or use in an episode. Shit, I'd buy all three of them new cars. I love them that much

Oh, which part?

What do you mean? Which part of England?

Yep.

London, Manchester, visit a friend in Essex, and wherever else I decide to go. I'm going to watch a couple Manchester United games, as well as other BPL games. It's the main reason I'm going. I've dreamed of seeing Old Trafford and sitting in Stretford End chanting and singing the songs along with the fans.

Tesla S?

Possible
You better do it! >:c

Tesla is doing some cool shit

They really are, but I'm still not completely sold on full electric cars. Also the inside is pretty barebones
That's true. Obviously there will be better ones in the future, but I think the Model S is what the car industry, as a whole, needs right now to be the catalyst to see more electric cars that can still be fun to drive and don't look ridiculous.

What tesla did right, very right in fact, was by making an electric car that looks normal. Hell, it's a damn good looking car to begin with. When they come out with something, such as a longer lasting battery, or something that will solidify full electric cars as a reliable means, then I'll recognize the option. Tesla is doing a very good job, I will say, but they aren't quite there yet in my book.
Yeah, the next big step they need to take is with battery life and charging options. It's great that you can charge your car at home in your garage, or at a number of stores/gas stations around the nation. A big problem with that is if you live in a place where you park in a garage. I live in an apartment complex where there's no option for me to plug in a charger anywhere in the 4-story garage.

Yup, and it's not like solar is a feasible option either. Battery life is something that even plagues the P1, albeit not terribly since it's a hybrid, but when it dies, you lose a considerable amount of power. Charging just needs a revolution, the technology is there, someone just needs to put the pieces together.

Mmmmmkay.

The first gen A-body 'Cuda, ugly little thing, technically the first in the "pony car" fad, but vastly undersold compared to the first Mustangs
Bugatti Type 57 - killed  Ettore Bugatti's son. Still a goddamn work of art and a chance to discuss the no-longer-utilized-for-cars i8 engine.
Chrysler Turbine Car - it's had a friggin turbine engine. And you thought turbo lag was bad... Interesting engineering and mechanical discussion.
You're a McLaren guy so I think you could make an interesting ramble about the F1LM (or just the F1, but I've got a thing for the LM)
Obligatory 707hp '15 SRT Hellcat Hemi Chally
I do believe info and photographs on the 2016 Cadillac ATS-V are out now. It's got twins, yo.
Oh, you could talk about the R35 GTR and its launch mode that breaks your tranny and voids your warranty!

The F1LM still gets me...excited. But I'd rather talk about the base versions of all the cars, so it'd be the F1.

All your suggestions will be added to the list :)
