The Flood / The C7 is pretty sweet« on: January 20, 2015, 10:59:03 PM »
Mi amigo recently got his white C7, and at lunch (and dinner) we met up so I could take a look. Although I didn't drive it, because I respect the rule of not driving someone's brand new car even if they offer, the car is pretty sweet. The cockpit was better then pictures I had seen, and it was the first time I sat in one. It also looks damn stunning in white.
Sure it doesn't pack the power I'm accustomed to, but for the price it's a damn good deal. It's universally understood and agreed that it's a sexy looking car. That Chevrolet really out did themselves. And it performs well, atleast from what I could tell from the passenger's seat. For those of you who have wanted one, or want one, and can't get it now, I highly suggest holding out and getting one as soon as you can. Well worth the price, in fact, the price is basically a steal. 4069
The Flood / Re: What direction should I take my novel?« on: January 20, 2015, 10:29:14 PM »I believe you should take it in The universe I created is simply this. The US has gone through another civil war. And a tyrannical government took over. At first the country prospered and exploded. But as time progressed, border were shut down and the US isolated itself from the world. The original civil war ended with a brutal defeat of those trying to keep the US as it was. The war was never spoken of, never taught about in classes. Completely erased from history. All the books deal with what happened in the original war, and the aftermath. This new one would deal with the lead up to the original war, and the beginning of it 4070
The Flood / What direction should I take my novel?« on: January 20, 2015, 10:23:38 PM »
As I brought up a week ago, or longer, I was considering writing a new book to be a prequel to my series. I hatched out who the character was going to be, and I know how the story line archs over and ends/meets.
Outside of that I have no restraints in my universe because it gives me the freedom to create a story to someone insignificant in the main books. It also allows me the ability to take a new direction, something unique, to set it apart both narratively and emotionally from the set. Typically I enjoy writing novels that are somewhat dark, because they are the most realsitic and engrossing. Ones that have a realistic balance with believable settings, events and characters. But I was wondering if I should take this one in a more upbeat approach, while keeping my realism. So what do you think would be the most entertaining? 4071

At least half the population will not give a shit about you. Trust me everyone has their own shit to deal with. There's no popularity at College (or any College as far as I know). People just hang in groups and don't care for anyone elses group. True 4078

The Flood / Re: >mfw fresh blood is added to my school's parking lot« on: January 20, 2015, 09:55:13 PM »Honestly i would prefer hanging out with people with really expensive cars who know how to take care of it and kids with beater cars that they fix or tune by themselves. Gotta respect those who make the most out of what they have. Tuners are a respectable group |
