The Flood / Interesting questions
« on: June 13, 2015, 11:27:14 PM »
Two to be exact

1. Think of a word in your head. Spell it out in your head. Do you picture the letters in your handwriting, or in text? Same with numbers.

2. When I say the phrase "Fuck my life", do you immediately convert it to "FML" in your mind?

So? I'm curious.

Is the questing style more engaging than kill or collect x thing?
You said it didn't feel like much of a grindfest, but how specifically does it attain this?

And on PvP the servers hold up on consoles? and you have other people in world to play with? How populated is your world? How does PvE interaction with other players go?
For that matter, how do party sessions play out (and is it enjoyable?)

It is the kill this guy, do this thing, collect x amount of this.

But, it's generous. Like if you have to collect 6 skulls for example, you get 3 per pick up. All of the quests are fairly quick and enjoyable and the story behind what your doing is valid. Your choices do effect the game world and how things are approached. Crafting leveling is fairly quick as well. As you quest if you pick up materials as you go it's pretty simple and easy. You don't have to grind for mats or to level, because the XP you get from crafting and dismantling, as well as gaining levels from finding books in the world, makes it easy to get to higher tiers

PVP holds up very well, although the occasional lag pauses combat for a second or two. Other then that it's fluid and enjoyable. You also get rewards for doing scouting reports and taking objectives. You get alliance points which can be used to get Blue tier gear as well as capacity upgrades. It's simple to jump into.

Is that adequate?

That's because they'd do the favor without money, and if you offer them money they think something's wrong.

Yes, we do things for money. Just not everything. Where trust is involved, money muddles things. Where there are price drops in food, less quality is expected.

He gets it

A couple more people will come in handy when everyone reaches Craglorn.

PAPABEAR PINATA

I just walked into the Rift.

Saw level 45 mobs, NOPE'd the fuck out of there

A couple friends bought the PC version for me cause they wanted to play with me way back when that launched. So I've got a V2 DK. Paid $20 for the account copy to the boner to play with friends who were going to get it so it's really lonely on that character since 90% of the Ebonheart playerbase hasn't passed blackmarsh yet in the storyline.

Damn, I'm level 17 after player for two days and I'm already seeing very few players around where I'm at.

It's really entertaining seeing hundreds of players sporadically completing objectives haha

Don't you have to pay a subscription fee every month though?
they scrapped that
hmm

May get it.

Instead they have like a Premium Membership, but it's not really anything more then a season pass essentially.

The game is entirely open to you and you are able to progress at a normal rate by just paying $60. Which is great.

I didn't expect this game to be too great, but Jesus Christ I'm having a lot of fun. Even playing Solo I'm having fun.

I'm actually very happy that it turned out far better then I expected.

Sure, launch day (more like the last few days) was pretty rough, but when you actually could play uninterrupted for a while it's a lot of fun.

Thoughts?

Also PVP is epic
