Ha, I was on a driving lesson.
Well you're not really learning anything when you're on the wrong side of the road.

There's a bunch that I took myself that I can upload if you want.

I found a few on that earth porn reddit page, so I'm good. Thank you though!

I should be on by 3, something came up but I think I'll be good. If anything, I'll be 5 minutes late but I doubt that

The Flood / Anyone have any nice natural wallpapers?

I like having wallpapers of nature for my laptop and computer, and I can't really seem to find a new one. I was hoping maybe a few of you would do the same or have something to share. Ones that aren't fake or heavily saturated.

So?

How do you remove racial identity and background in a fair and proper trial where the defendant attends in person?

Completely forgot to cover that point, I got a phone call and broke my train of thought.

Rather then them being them in person, all that is shown are the facts. It removes the ability of a verdict to be swayed away from what actually occurred. Once a adamant decision is made, then they are brought in to hear it.

2048
Should racial background and personal information be totally removed during a jury's verdict?

In truth, I'm not very familiar with court proceedings, and if this is something that is already practiced then I guess lock the thread.

But if not, let me explain exactly what I mean. When a case is brought to the attention of a jury all information regarding their racial background and personal information should be completely anonymous/removed from the report. Doing that would eliminate bias and leave the jury to come up with a verdict solely based on simple facts of both sides. Although a jury is filtered to eliminate bias, it doesn't eradicate the possibility for it to be present. It would allow decisions to be free from the possibility of being racially charged or partial.

What's even worse is the fact they slowly watched them get completely shafted and fucked over, and there was nothing they could do.

At least it's only a shitty animal, not a human being.
It's not clear that there were any significant research gains in this endeavour.

Making something suffer for no net gain is always immoral.

Meta is right. If the research actually proved to be valuable, or rather, can help human beings, then you can make an argument. But this "research" was utterly pointless and in no way should be seen as justified. Suffering is suffering, pain is pain. Whether or not it was for the better of the vast majority is when things blur. In this case, it was deeply in the wrong.

Sucks to hear that. Still no details on what happened?

Nope, it's still very much a mystery. Which doesn't make it any better

That's way too steep of a fine. By a long shot.
The judge didn't think so.

A judge also ruled that someone who bowled people over out of sheer apathy for human life should get off on "affluenza"

Oh, I know. Some judges are complete morons, but thats the judicial system of America. Pathetic.

The judge didn't think so.

His ruling should be over ruled, or the case should be thrown back into arbitration. It's way to harsh, for something so petty.

Yes Casper, this only happens in Florida.

Anything else you want to add?
How long till you buy a new friend?

Go fuck yourself.

You're probably not feeling anything because you're in shock. It might take a few hours, or days to sink in. Differs for people.

I'm sorry to hear that.
The worst part of dealing with death is that you eventually get used to it.
Yep. My step brother hanged himself when I was younger. I've never seen a body so pale before.

Didn't touch him at the funeral. I was afraid how it'd feel. I was crying like an idiot though, so eh. No touchy would have helped.

I could never imagine losing one of my brothers...

Accident? or suicide?

No one knows, he was last seen on the beach at night. They found his body in the water this morning. No one knows if someone did something to him, if it was accidental, or suicide...

I really hope it was an accident...

And I don't even know how to react. I don't feel anything, its just so hard to believe...

It was so sudden. I wasn't paying attention to my phone and when I look I had 72 messages. At first I thought maybe my group chat was just talking a lot, but no.

I don't even know what to do, and its strange that Im even posting this here. Fuck...
