The Flood / Nights like these are the ones I will forever value and love« on: August 28, 2015, 09:59:36 PM »
No, I didn't go out and party, no I didn't do anything that would make a night amazing by an normal standards.
No, the nights like tonight are the ones that truly make me happy. Something as simple as taking my family to dinner at my favorite restaurant. The best Nicaraguan food on the planet in the best city in the world, with the best people in the world. I'm not much of a party kinda of guy anymore, guess I stopped giving a shit about that aspect lmao. I've always valued family pretty much over everything, but as I've gotten older I've appreciated spending time with them more and more. Tonight was nothing special, just a family dinner. The service was fantastic, two young guys did an excellent job, and got an excellent tip (oh and by the way, if your ever eating out at a restaurant and people give you great service, always be generous with the tip, because they deserve it. It's so easy to be an asshole or just provide plain service, but when people go above what they are required to do, they deserve the same satisfaction they gave you. I've never worked in the service industry, but I have always genuinely appreciated when someone does a great job, because you really don't have to. Just an honest tangent I wanted to go on.) Also there was a mariachi band playing for two groups of people, who ended up playing for the whole restaurant, some guy proposed, it was awesome. These are the kinds of nights that you can't give up, or put a price on. I'd rather spend time with my family, and with people of my culture and have a good genuine night, then go to the livest party in the world. What I wanted to say beyond that was honestly this. Please never forget about your family, and always show unconditional love for them. I know it's awkward for me to say because I know some of you have had fall outs with your parents, and honestly I really can't express how much it makes me sad to hear that. Like I actually really feel for you. Family has always been one of the biggest things to me, and I couldn't imagine being in a position like that. I don't want to sound ignorant when I say always love your family, because I know sometimes things are far from ideal. But family is family nonetheless, love them or hate them, you've got to love them. I've lived on my own, then went to college, and I will never loathe coming back down to see my parents, or spending the weekend at the only house I've ever lived in. And I'm sure none of you really care for anything I just said, and someone will probably accuse me of actually saying all of this to brag or something, but that's my genuine message. Love your family, and never forget about them. Because when it's all said and done, it's a connection that you only get once, you only have one family, enjoy the time you spend with them. Have a goodnight flood 1714

Life sucks at times, but keep your head up. Always be on the look out for what positives there are, and remember, regardless if you think it or not someone is always there for you. Be it someone you know in person, or someone on here. We all look out for our own, and we should. We can fuck around with each other, but seriously, if you see someone thats been down or having trouble, make an effort to just pop your head in and say hey, I'm here for you. Little shit like that can go a long way, and I'm sure all of us would prefer that everyone on here was personally happy and in good standings.
It's all going to be okay fam, I got you, we got you. 1725

They look about the same as the last. Winning two shitty matches by force of luck, drawing Newcastle, and shitting on >Brugge isn't really special. Not many of the signings they've made jump out at me. Depay looks good tbh, but Shweinsteiger imo has always been an above average midfielder, Kroos was the main man of that Bayern midfield. Or just the same passing and stuff?Cool. Lastly. They don't do proper skills moves passively, they just do like jukes and stuff passively when your trying to run past a player. I can't think of the names of the moves exactly, it's nice 1728

But you can see when their really putting effort into winning. Barcelona and Real Madrid play like they would. English teams play like they would. Arsenal is midfield heavy like they are. But it's not too noticable. They just made the AI smart, they didn't make teams play like their counterparts. Leicester is still deadly though. Also I forgot, pace doesn't always work anymore. It's not longer exploitable. And I'm not exactly sure what you meant by that last part 1731

I'm not sure if they'd include these in a beta, but with only a month left until release and still no info on added clubs/leagues, I'm worried that they haven't added any (outside of the women's national teams and the clubs that were promoted in the leagues already in FIFA 15) The only thing not in the Beta was the Women teams, other then that it was the full game. I honestly don't remember if they added any new leagues, but I feel like there were one or two new additions 1733
Gaming / Re: Now that the FIFA 16 Beta is closed, and I played some 15 again, heres the diff« on: August 28, 2015, 08:40:53 AM »Wow, that's great. I'm glad players don't celebrate each trophy like it's the best then. Celebration hype sounds great too. I was impressed in FIFA 15 how players actually ran over and celebrated. My problem in FIFA before was ever since they introduced custom celebrations, it was only 2 or 3 players max, but before that it was cutscenes with more. Glad 15 fixed that and 16 seems to do it more. Because he left Everton. I forgot to check Ashley Young and Villa, but I sold him immediately. And yes, a little louder. Also, the crowds roars on counter attacks, as well as when they feel you need to more aggressive up front. Not sure if they do anything after good challenges 1734

Gaming / Re: Now that the FIFA 16 Beta is closed, and I played some 15 again, heres the diff« on: August 28, 2015, 02:23:42 AM »That's all great news, but my only concern is it seems like training is a bit too OP from what you've told me. If you personally do every training perfectly, thats how you get results like that. Simulating training cuts your gains significantly, although sometimes you can sim and get B's and A's (its mostly C's and lower after testing it out). I also only did hard training exercises, and getting A's is actually very difficult in some set ups, even with amazing players. Commentary was updated and refreshing. They talk about players if they are fresh real world transfers, and do give small tid bits of info on some players, as well as personal commentary. They also talk about in game transfers, which was a nice addition. Such as Chelsea signing Benzema in game. Much louder and relevant, the celebrations for trophies have been re done some what, and the pre season trophy presentation is accurate (meaning players don't look like they won a league title or a european cup), and its kept minimal. Chants are about the same, but id say a little more frequent, but no player specific chants, atleast not in the Beta. Everton still boos whenever Rooney touches the ball though, which is always funny. OH and I forgot, new contextual celebrations. If you run towards the camera guy...well, i won't spoil anything. Its pretty awesome, and there are a few different ones. Rooney does the KO celebration has his default now, and the Man City Bicycle kick one (The tip toe arms spread one) as his RT held one. Also new hype celebrations, like extra time goals to win the game, which are pretty special. The crowd doesn't drown out during trophy celebrations now, and the players go to fan sections and do cup lifts and are visibly actually happy and excited. Presentation got a nice uplift 1736
