The Flood / Today, I fulfilled a dream, while fulfilling a dream.« on: October 28, 2014, 06:18:57 PM »
I went the hospital near my house a few hours ago (hence why I've been very active today) to visit my buddy who just had surgery on his ACL/MCL.
I frequent the hospital to get service hours by helping out so I walked my usual route to leave. The outpatient area is my last stop, and as I was walking by I saw a kid alone. Knowing he couldn't be anymore then 11 years old I went up to him. He looked a bit concerned about something so I just said hello and asked him where his parents were. He told me his name was Miles and that his parents were talking to a doctor and that he had been in the hospital for 2 days because he couldn't walk up the stairs in his home, he had the inability to make the step up. I started making conversation with him and he pointed out my shirt. I was wearing a Lamborghini Polo I got as a gift from the HQ in Bologna when I visited over the summer. And he told me he always dreamt of riding in a Lamborghini. Before I could say anything his parents came back and obviously asked me what I was doing talking to their son, lmao. I explained to them I was on my way out and I usually talk to some of the people in the outpatient area, and I noticed that he looked pretty down. With that I took them aside and asked if he was ok and told them that he explained to me why he was in the hospital. They said they were going to have to conduct test for brain cancer, because during initial tests he had troubles, and they found some form of anomaly in his first MRI (although they suspect it's a mess up as a result of him moving around.) I had been in the exact same situation a few months ago (or maybe it was last month, a lot has happened so Idr exactly.) So I could feel for him. I told them I had an idea of how to cheer him up and to stay here for 15 more minutes. On the way out the mom said to the dad "hey isn't that the company Miles owns a toy of" to which the dad then asked me if that was Lamborghini. I pointed out the name (which was clear enough) and said yup. I walked out. Went home, and came back. As many of you know, I own a Lamborghini. I came back into the area and saw they were waiting in the back of the room, unable to see a giant window facing outside. I took the dad aside and told him what I had planned. He relayed the info to the mom and this is how it went down. The parents would take him outside and tell him to cover his eyes. Saying it was a test the doctor asked them to do. They walk him (blindly) until he was a few feet away from the car. I then went to him and told him that I felt bad that he had a bad last two days. And I told him I had a way of making it up to him. I texted my parents to come out (they were in the hospital room with my friend with his family). And then I told Miles to uncover his eyes. Flood, never in my life have I ever seen such pure joy. His eyes opened wider then ever, and he smiled as much as possible. And he just screamed "no way" and started jumping up and down from excitement. My mom and his mom began to cry and I told the dad he could take his son for a spin in it around the parking lot (it was basically empty.) So they did. When they went around twice they came back, and after helping both of them open the doors, the dad came and gave me a hug, and said god bless you. I went to Miles, gave him a high five and told him that I hope I made his dream come true. And he too hugged me. We took a picture (which I'm skeptical to show as both the kids family and my family are in it). I have always wanted to make someone's dream come true. And I did. I tried to hold back tears, but a few got away. It was humbling, and amazing to make a kid and his family so happy. I gave the dad my number so he could tell me how the results turned out. We all hugged one more time, and said goodbye. I'm very happy today flood. I feel blessed beyond belief. It was awesome. Absolutely awesome. 514
The Flood / If you could live on any celestial body in space, where would you live?« on: October 28, 2014, 05:00:40 PM »
You are able to teleport from your home on earth, directly to your home on wherever you are, in an instant, and back and forth. You are the only inhabitant able (unless you have children.) to be on the planet (supernatural reason) until humanity finds a way to do so efficiently.
If it's a gas giant, you now have a floating house, kind of like cloud city. Where are you going to settle down lads? Edit: your also totally protected by any environmental forces (extreme weather, heat, cold, etc.) 515
The Flood / Unnecessarily expensive car, which boasts unrealistic numbers.« on: October 28, 2014, 01:28:53 PM »Introducing the Lykan Hypersport. The world's 3rd most expensive car (road legal). Priced at $3.4M, the 770 Horsepower "powerhouse" is said to have (supposedly) a top speed of 240mph. Is it worth the money? For the car you get, in no way. Is it pretty? It's a different aesthetic, and it is decently nice. What makes it so expensive? It is the first car in the world to have diamonds in its headlights. You read that right, diamonds. The buyer can choose any jewel to put in the headlights, or incorporate in the interior. The car boasts numbers that don't really make sense. 0-62 in 2.8 seconds, that's P1 territory. Yet this car is heavier, has 130 less horsepower, and is in no way as aerodynamic. 0-125 in 9.4 seconds. Once again, doesn't make sense. Essentially this car is boasting times, and numbers, that don't add up. At an over inflated price. The only known places you can find the car is: Russia, and Monaco. 516

The Flood / Ask us anything!« on: October 27, 2014, 03:50:28 PM »
Hey guys. As some of you may remember my story about how I almost crashed because a thread on here made me and my passenger cry of laughter. Said passenger wanted to say hi and interact with you. Which might eventually lead her to join the site entirely (anonymously).
Ask us anything! Please address who the question is to, just use BC for me, CH for her, or if it's both say both. I'm trying to convince her to let me put a picture (even though some of you may have seen her already.) but she insists I put one first. I look bad, but I'm considering it. Also knowing that a picture would attract a lot more activity. But seriously, anything goes. Ask away! Spoiler OK, not everything. Pics gone! 520
Serious / Why does the internet seem to hate religion?« on: October 27, 2014, 09:30:13 AM »

So why does the internet hate all things religion based/related? 521

The Flood / I'm not RC5908, but...« on: October 23, 2014, 08:15:41 PM »
Shocking. It was a joke.
But, I am leaving. I'm sure many of you are happy about this (I'm looking at you RC, Vien, and Noelle, and Co.), and I'm sure some of you don't care (everyone else :p). It's been obvious since the start I wasn't very welcome here, and to be honest, I don't blame you. I was never really popular on the flood, and it's hard to get a footing in a place that's centered and controlled by the popular members. I'm not leaving because I've been made fun of, or abused, or any of that. I'm actually leaving because I don't want to take away from the general vibe of the website. Your all friends, and feeling like I'm the outlander, I don't want to spoil or ruin the mood. I have no hard feelings for any of you. In fact, even though the aforementioned users have been complete dicks, I don't hate you. I'm sure there is a valid reason for everything you say and do. That isn't to say I really care for those reasons, unless they are actual reasons. To everyone that was good to me, or atleast tried, I say thank you. You made my short re-return enjoyable and I shared a lot of good laughs. It was fun. If any of you guys ever need help, feel free to pm me, I'll jump on occasionally to see if anyone has anything to say to me, good or bad, I'll read it. Be it financial, or emotional, I'm more then happy to help. I wish nothing more for you all to genuinely enjoy where you are, and who you are. You are all relatively good people. Camnator- Your joke on Charlie's thread was the best thing I had seen on the internet for a very long time. That was spectacular Gatsby- Keep listening to Under Pressure, it's just so good. Blazed Iron and Cheat- if you guys ever want to meet up or I'm around you guys, I'll check in with you. Officer Nasty- Enjoy FGCU, I may see you soon as well. Sandtrap- I'm glad your still around and I hope your new home is badass. And I hope you can be happy once again. Nuka- My offer still stands. Das Boot and Luis- Thanks for being interested in the shit I talk about lol, you the real MVP Cheat (Bonus)- Thanks for making a kick ass website and doing a good job in managing it. If you ever need help in paying for the website, even though I won't be active, I'll gladly help. And all the various other users I genuinely like but really can't call to mind right now that I'll feel like an ass for seinf or remembering later on, thank you. It's be fun. But maybe it's time I just step away from the internet for a while. It's nothing personal, or that I have any negative feelings towards it. Just take a break. Some of you have been on the screen of my computer and iPad for years. Over 5. I'll never forget the good times we had. I hope this forum only grows and becomes better then ever. That's all I got, be happy, all of you. I mean it. Spoiler Also, I never lied, you can actually find a bunch of articles on me online. Though no one really knows the full story, or really how successful I ended up being (number wise), I wasn't kidding. And hey, you met someone who owns a P1. I'd say that's pretty awesome Spoiler Sorry for the Wall of China, /blog. OH, Mega Sceptile- keep loving that Evo and I wish you a lot of success in your races. I thoroughly enjoyed the conversations we had (from b.net and the scare few we had here) 523

The Flood / McLaren pls.« on: October 23, 2014, 05:06:47 PM »
http://www.wired.com/2014/10/mclarens-3-3m-p1-gtr-made-drive-like-f1-car/
First, they finally put a price on the P1 GTR. My mouth is very....very watery. And my male region, quite attentive. Boost from 903HP to 983HP (80 is a lot.) Weight reduction (No info on how substantial or if the electric motor was removed which to being with would be around 220 pounds off). Hopefully weight reduction is around 500 pounds. Which would be...dreamy. Would get rid of the passenger seat. It's a track only car from what I've seen and what McLaren has said. But...worth it. If it's a semi decent road car, so worth it. It's made to drive like an F1 car. Looks like an F1 car (inside) and is a piece of art on the outside. And! It's only for P1 owners! Yaaaassss. ———————————————————————-- In other news, McLaren declined my move to convert my P1 from RWD to AWD, because...well, if it didn't have the electric motor it would be possible lol. Damn :/ 525

The Flood / My mom is way too cute« on: October 16, 2014, 02:49:13 PM »
I get home from school and she told me her car got out of service and that mine should be coming in an hour. So what does she want to do?
My mom wants to go on a road trip lol. She's asking if me and my brothers, and dad, would like to take all of our cars and go on a roadtrip this weekend. My mom never suggests things like this. And I know she loves her new car, but this is both weird, but somewhat awesome. She's suggesting Miami to Atlanta, but my dad says to NYC. Discuss road trips you've taken Edit: I'm actually open to the idea of picking one of you idiots up in the way so we can relax through the trip on the good 'ole east coast. And if we make it back to Miami, meaning you stay along, I could pay for your flight back. 528
The Flood / Never Sep7agon and drive« on: October 16, 2014, 09:27:56 AM »
Yesterday I test drove 3 cars with my lady friend. Now, typically, my co-pilot (passenger) texts for me, since she has no problem doing it. Yesterday I was pretty active on here and she was reading me threads and we were having a good time. Well. I don't remember who's comment it was on a thread, but I laughed so hard, I hydroplaned and nearly lost control of the car. Granted I handled it well, it was pretty scary lol.
So my advice to those of you who love this website and enjoy it's humor, don't sep7agon and drive. 529

Share what you drive, upgrades or modifications you plan/would like to do, and talk about cars you'd like to own/plan on buying.

Like, I don't necessarily understand the issue. A lot of you (at least Icy) knows my full name and all that. It's not like any if you are going to steal anyone's identity, and if your embarrassed of yourself well that's sort of your own issue.
It's the internet though, nothing necessarily matters. If someone wants to be a dick they can, but they don't really get anything from it. Plus you have the option to just leave and be done with it, or make a new account. You could all go and look and fine me right now, and post pictures or my full name, and I wouldn't give a damn. So why are you all scared of that |
