Regardless of how bad the movie was,1998 (God)zilla was still the best representation of the creature.
True, it did represent a creature that might be real, still it wasn't a great movie.
Real creature wouldn't magically change size throughout documentation, nor would it be dumb enough to make nest in highly populated area on the other side of the world from where it came. Or be able to breath fire, but only do that once.
