The Tupac and Vocaloid holograms, whilst really fracking impressive, are still just images projected onto a gigantic screen of glass iirc >.>
If you take 2 bowls(w/ one having a hole cut out on top) that have a mirrored surface, and you put an object in the center, you will get a hologram of that object(provided you're at the right distance/angle). Put a circular/multifaced screen, then refine this and I don't see why you shouldn't be able to have a hologram that isn't projected onto a surface. If this works and someone copyrights it, I will kill them.

Funny how the one time I went in that group a bunch of guys were ganging up and insulting someone for no fracking reason, then I backed the dude up; then when they started after me I went biblical on their asses, and he had nothing to say other than "okay...." when he popped in.
It's a popularity contest and nothing else. I had legitimate points, as I had seen others, but if they don't agree with you, you get the banhammer. If it's the popular member harassing some of the more "insignificant" members, it gets ignored.
The thread in particular that resulted in my ban was actually a pretty ridiculous one, and people were bitching back and forth about white supremacy and other really bullshit ideas. I came in and saying that all the talk of race was ridiculous and that we should be past this in this day and age, and...people agreed with me until Jay stepped in. She threw a bitch fit at me, I made a rebuttal, and Harlow banned me for being racist.

I don't really know the guy enough to make judgements. I was bored one day, joined the group b/c I got a PM from some guy that was a moderator in it, but he was gone months later when I finally checked up on it. Hopped on their forum, defended some poor SoB, verbally shut down everyone opposing me, then quit the next day after checking back on the group and telling them they're all pieces of shit compared to the main Offtopic. Overall, it was a good times looking back. Sorry you couldn't have had as much fun.
