Ok, now let me continue by saying that smart scope is not ADS. Smart scope has already been confirmed by 343 as a visual reskinning of the zoom function from all previous Halo games. They have also confirmed that there is NO PENALTY to accuracy when firing from the hip, which is what Halo has always been and also the movement will not be slowed like games with ADS. So it can not possibly be correctly labeled as traditional ADS because of the fact that there is no accuracy penalty to the hip firing aiming system that Halo is known for, it is simply a more updated and more interesting visual take on the zoom function that Halo has always had. It's a gimmick. Plain and simple. While it may work like Zoom used to in previous Halo games, all it is there for is to cater to gamers of the CoD-kind of generation or mindset, whatever you want to call it. Decisions like that are not made frivolously, and there isn't any other significant reason to do it, even if it was done "to look cooler", it is obvious that it would have that effect. At the very least, it would be in their best interests to make it so you can toggle the animation between the new one and just the old zoom. In previous Halo games, once you start a firefight, you are usually stuck in it until it's over. In Halo 4 (and also somewhat in Halo Reach), players had the option to run from firefights, have their shields charge while they are sprinting and hiding, and then reengage without penalty from making the first mistake of starting a fight they couldn't win and the other player losing out on a kill that they probably deserved. I personally see sprint as a gameplay improving feature, but not the way it was implemented in Halo 4.
In Halo 5, sprint will return and even become an indefinite ability among all players, but shields will no longer recharge while a player is sprinting. This will give a huge penalty to sprinting that balances out with its usage and helps it fit into the sandbox well, in my opinion. Sprint is now balanced. Yes, still being able to run away and prolong your inevitable death is balance and fixes the issue of them being able to run away. It's something that makes the player more likely to die in the long term, you might find them later with their shields not recharging and finish them off, but that's still 10-30 seconds that was wasted, and prolonged the game needlessly. Making it so you cannot sprint at all unless you have 100% full shields, is really the best option to defeat running away when you should've died. I'd also like to state that running away was always an option in previous Halo games, it's just that you had to be closer to cover/not as exposed to pull it off. Thruster pack is an ability from Halo that's been rather widely, although not universally, described as the best and most useful armor ability from Halo 4 I'd like to go out on a limb and state this is bullshit, as countless people bitched about it doing nothing significant while Jetpack, Active Camo, and Promethean Vision made everyone bitch about how ridiculously powerful they were. If you meant that it was one of the more balanced AA's in Halo 4, then that however is far more acceptable. And when it comes to clamber, let's be honest....if Bungie had introduced clamber in any of the original 3 games, pretty much everybody would have loved it. I know I would have, but some people may feel it changes too much to the original Halo formula which I understand, but respectfully disagree with. In my opinion, the fact that it's 343 that added it is practically the only reason people have an issue with this particular feature, because they are convinced that 343 is ruining Halo by changing the game. I've never understood why people would rather they basically just release the same game every time with only new guns, new vehicles, and better graphics.
My problem with Climbing is that it takes you out of combat for that second, you can't turn around, the maps will probably be designed with it in mind, so you won't be able to make jumps w/o using it, and you probably won't be able to do it backwards. It will also very likely cause quite a fair amount of harm to skill/trick jumps. These skillful jumps will now likely be just typical clambers. Please, never use the "ppl only hate cuz its 343i!" card. It's wrong and just stupid. You're not making an argument on the feature, you're making a sweeping generalization that's founded on ignorance and is a truly self-defeating argument. You're bringing up something irrelevant as well to try to defend yourself, and you ignore the shitloads of hate Bungie got with every single Halo game's release. Also, does no one realize that they released the Master Chief Collection so we can have the old games on a current console so that the new games can be something different? We will literally be able to play Halo CE, 2, 3, 4, and 5 (and possibly 6) on one console. Why do you want another version of the games we already have available with nothing changed but graphics? If you ever feel like going back to old school Halo, just play MCC (Once it starts to work, that is...) and if you want something new there,will be Halo 5. Not a worthy excuse to make whatever shit you want, in no way whatsoever. People want new things that improve upon the old, not something that barely resembles the old. If I had a dollar for ever idiot that pulled the "everybody just wants a carbon copy of halo 3!" card, I'd be a fucking millionaire by now. Here, have some suggestions that don't break shit. Spoiler Numerous suggestions to improve Firefight were given. Plenty featuring a sort of hub-world conjoining different areas of a single themed map(one map theme was Flood-infested High charity, another a UNSC colony world, etc). There would be bosses, map events, side-missions, vehicles, etc. The suggestions go into much more detail, and were extensively debated, so let me know if you want more. Found this one about being able to utilize fusion coils in a different way. A risky strategy that could allow one to move objects easier at risk.Space Battles have only been asked for since, like 4 years now, right? There's a variety of ways that can be done. Either all players start in ships and there are powerups/weapons on map(more traditional), or a more Battlefront-style approach. That's a weaponThat's a gametypeThere are God only knows how many thousands of Forge suggestions since Halo 3 that were intended for Reach and Halo 4 that never got in. 16v16 or 32v32 gametypes have been suggested en masse, and despite what some people may think they hold quite some plausibility and weight behind them. Removal of Loadouts and Sprint, except in Custom Games with Sprint as an AA/Equipment piece, have been more or less a given. Oh, that reminds me. Put AA's/Equipment together into the game, have it so only one can be held onto and used at a time. Since Equipment generally behaved differently, make it so AA's would have a set amount of uses or permanent fuel. A proposal was maybe have an area that AA's could be refueled, but that's not necessary for this, and at the least it would be nice for Custom Games.

This Episode will probably be about the re-emergance of the Sith, now that Palps is gone, and since the Empire is left without a leader, I assume a power struggle and the Rebellion will be trying to bring the Republic back. I'm not sure if it's just going to be 1 Sith, but there very well could end up being many, and assuming Luke has restarted the Jedi order, a large cinematic Jedi vs Sith battle is possible. Then again, maybe I'm just too hopeful.
