TFW my family is Mormons and hold the BoM over the Bible so saying that won't mean anything to them, You need to understand the Mormon Cathphrase: "We believe the Bible to be the word of God as far as it is translated correctly; we also believe the Book of Mormon to be the word of God."
That gives the leaders of the church as much power as they want because they can say the bible wasn't properly translated if it contests with their beliefs.
Tell them we have texts dating back to 100BC that when translated say the exact same thing we have now. Does the Book of Mormon have God go around murdering those children he made with unconditional love and wants nothing more than to live eternally with them, because they are confused and/or upset with God?

As an agnostic...this movie was quite Republican.
I've never even seen it and I knew it was just bad from seeing the announcement trailer before it was out.

Why the fuck can't I use Jetpack in Halo 4? That's complete bullshit. It feels so grounded. It's like if they removed jumping from Halo 3. I've had 2 years of playing Halo 4 exclusively using jetpack familiarizing myself with all the jumps and strategies and little nuances of jetpacks vertical movement and 343 just takes it away.
Because armor abilities are for bks.
Then don't put Halo 4 at all.
But Halo 4 not being Halo 4 sounds like it could actually be a tiny bit enjoyable.

If they're decked out in some big kick ass armor, then it's believable. It is a Sci-Fi universe. And in WH40k Space Marines use 19.05mm projectiles for their standard rifles.

Actually this would cut down on recoil as the round picks up speed as it travels and doesn't have to have all it's energy imparted to it instantaneously. Potentially allowing an unassisted man to fire larger rounds. Design was found lacking but who knows, future developments could see a reevaluation. Definitely not for close quarters though.
I never thought about that, but now it makes me like the design more. Other than not working at close ranges without a change like having a charge propel it before the rocket fires, what other problems were there? I like guns, but being young and never having any hasn't made me very knowledgeable on the subject. But face it, at this point we're just talking about babyrockets, why not go balls deep and hand the dudes full auto rpgs.
Because last time I got interested in this subject I found out that the Geneva convention banned explosive bullets. So, it would seem no.
