I really don't care about birthdays.
i haven't celebrated mine since i was 14
I can't even remember the last time I did. Like, my family and I eat cake and/or go out somewhere, but that's it.

The Flood / Re: A Discussion on the new Star Wars Canon
« on: February 17, 2015, 11:23:59 PM »
Disney isn't canon
Regardless of whether we like the new canon or not, it is nonetheless the universe that all content henceforth will be based upon, the EU isn't going to receive any new material. I say that instead of assuming it's terrible, and never even giving it a chance, we with old our judgment for a bit, whilst still remaining skeptical.

The EU had it's flaws, too. We need to give the new universe some time to form.
don't care, not canon.

So even if the new canon ends up being pretty good, you're not going to accept it? You're just going to purposefully not enjoy any new Star Wars content?

That doesn't sound too fun. Yeah, there was some great stuff in the EU, like Thrawn, but there was also a lot of bad, that didn't really fit Star Wars. Also, they have been salvaging the better elements of the EU, who's to say we won't get Thrawn, etc. back?

I'm not trying to be rude, but I don't see how blatant obstinence is going to do anything, might as well enjoy new Star Wars content as it arrives.
I hope you realize I'm not reading any responses and I'm just pissing in the wind here.

Why not actually discuss the topic with me?
Because it's 12:23AM and I gave up all hope for Star Wars and Halo quite a while ago.

I never sell anything regarding games.
Always seemed dumb to me.
I like those games.

But those games are not backwards compatible to the Xbox one, i know how you feel though.
Then don't sell your 360 :P

lol as much as i liked the 360, its not going to stay there forever, 8 year old console, plus i want to make more money, so a sacrifice has to be made :p
Sacrifice your Xbox One since the 360 actually has good games on it.

Give it to the police, I don't have a permit for it.
In what sick country do you live in where you need a permit for a handgun?
Uh, America? Maybe? idk

Turn it in to the government, of course.
Mr. Flee, I'm here for your man card.
Fine, I'll customize it like this.

...and then turn it in to the government.
Well... at least it wasn't a historical relic... unlike SOME PEOPLE in your horrid fandom would have done...

10/10, would sacrifice historical relic for such a work of art.
And this is how we know all your opinions are garbage.

If you've never made a bowl out of a beer can than you haven't lived.
One of my grandpas made ash bowls out of 40mm and 120mm shells. That's living.

Wow, that guy is a fucking douchebag. Instead of throwing shit at him, someone needs to shoot his ass.
>throwing shit at people on stage

You deserve to get called out for that. No wiggle room. I despise Hecklers and the likes.
The guy who chucked the bottle at Bieber was a national hero, though.

That horrible failed practice invasion that happened before D-day that ended up killing a bunch Allied troops, though.

I think i know what your talking about, was there an airborne assault?
I think he means exercise Tiger.
Friendly fire everywhere and U-boats intercepting a convoy on it's way to the practice islands.

Ah, now i remember, been a long time since i saw Saving Private Ryan.

Scratch that, now i can't remember if that was from the movie, i know what he's talking about, i just can't remember if thats from the movie or not.
It wasn't in the movie, one of those things swept under the rug they didn't want to talk about.

Scenes like this is why I love this movie.

Also back then if you got hit by one fucking bullet you were fucked.

Also i THINK someone I know was there that day, but I'm not 100% sure.
That was the Civil War, technically pre-Civil War if you count chopping limbs off as treatment. We dun learned medicine and care by that point.

For example, there was this guy.
Quote
He served in the Boer War, First World War, and Second World War; was shot in the face, head, stomach, ankle, leg, hip, and ear; survived two plane crashes; tunnelled out of a prisoner-of-war camp; and bit off his own fingers when a doctor refused to amputate them. Describing his experiences in the First World War, he wrote, "Frankly I had enjoyed the war."

I'm not sure, but there are definitely things out there that science can't explain.

I'd imagine any paranormal entities would have something to do with quantum physics.
quantum physics is science.

Yeah, I meant that as in if it could actually be explained by science.
Well, it can. Sooooo

It can't, soooooo

There are paranormal things that haven't been explained by science yet
That's how science works. That doesn't mean it can't be explained.
