They've already done that for Blue Team in Escalation, and ditching pretty much all of H4's awful designs in H5's Beta really helped too. Can you even handle this level of clipping?
How dare you insult art
I like to dis art that clips.
tmw old fan 3d models don't. Also, those freaking gloves.
from the knees down looks amazing. holy shit i didnt realize how gross looking H4's calf/foot armor was.
I try to do my best to just ignore them now, because after complaining about 343i's general art design I started picking on smaller and smaller things until I've discovered annoying shit with just about everything they do and a bunch of Bungie's old stuff too. Halo 4's armor, in general, has an unhealthy emphasis on unnecessary detail that puts the grooves along Bungie's Mk. VI armor to shame. Also, they really just wanted to make as much stuff as possible so none of the armor sets have any real meaning or purpose. In contrast, there's Halo 3 CQB with its knife and extra armor/less visor and pauldrons that protect the side when the biceps aren't in the way(yes, they aren't just silly looking wings).

The curve of the top of the helmet and the visor shape mean that much to you? Yes. Fuck off.
and don't you give him shit for realizing the tactical genius of preventing the Achilles heel from harm, because he is now invulnerable. Not much good if you can't move your feet
That's what joints are for, the plates move, you dummy.

That helmet is prettyy ugly
You couldn't have stepped into a bigger minefield.
Also, apparently thanks to Halo Online there's about 30 more armor sets, some with hardlight.
At what point did I say most of Halo 4's armour sets looked good?
So, now we are in agreement that compared to 90% of the other shit, it's a goddamn masterpiece.
Note: I am not in anyway endorsing the beefjerky straps with studs holding them together shown in the second image.
Minus the helmet, undersuit and ankles, yeah
The curve of the top of the helmet and the visor shape mean that much to you? Other than those, it's the H2/H3 Mk. VI. I already said no beefjerky straps, and don't you give him shit for realizing the tactical genius of preventing the Achilles heel from harm, because he is now invulnerable.

Kind of legitimizes Master Chief's "new" armor design.
Did they ever officially explain that? I thought the nanobots angle got debunked.
Nope, nanobots.
But Chief's armor model didn't have nanobots...
The FuD did
Oh, so that's what changed the FuD's entire design.

Let me paraphrase what I remember Frankie said. "Well, fuck you, there were nanobots that came into the cryotube and changed Chief's armor."

And is it really too much to ask for armor sets that clearly look like they were made for a purpose, not fashion statements? Or to have something for crotch protection? Or maybe a belt to store ammunition and equipment on? Please?

...people actually let themselves look like that?
._____.
To be fair, I don't think that's actually a person, so much as an amorphous blob of matter that has been attempting integration into Human society.

I have come here to remind you all that that series was utter shit and you should feel guilty for liking it. Ritualistic suicide is recommended for you to make up for this sin.
How much of it did you watch? Became about the first three seasons are terrible, but then it rapidly improves.
Too much. I've gone to far to watch any recommended not shit episodes, because there are too many that are shit.
You're right, a lot of it is really bad. But I don't see the point in being obstinate and refusing to see even the good episodes/arcs.
Because then I'll have even more of a reason to hate them since they were able to do things right, but fucked up 90% of the time anyway.

I was hoping for more of a Crusades kind of thing here, but this is just "we're going to vocally oppose you and teach others that you're bad!" Better than nothing, I suppose.

Someone could get the Psychology Textbook faces and reading expressions shit out, I guess if they really wanted to. Anyway, does it really matter too much? All it ends up being is entertainment, knowing whether it's staged or not really shouldn't change anything.
Of course it matters. It's easy to stage anything and claim that it's legitimate. With these particular videos the idea that they are real life occurrences is what would make them entertaining. Otherwise it's just worthless click bait produced by someone who wants to be internet famous.
My dear, practically all videos are just worthless click bait produced by someone that wants to be famous.
