I'm am very sensitive to what I call the Spiritual Realm and have been since I was a little girl.
I always wondered why only some could see it, and others not at all.
I was momentarily misdiagnoised as schzitfenic because of this.
I got a second opinion and they said it was just depression.
I know okay so I'm crazy, but then how come when I would see these strange beings others with me could also see them?
Is it possible that perhaps our pineall glands can connect on the same plane as other when there is a disturbance of a mass energy force such as a spirit.
It is well know that there are random pockets of energy trapped around the world and each force can create different psychological effects on someone.
So let's say when our bodies enteract with another dimentional energry force by releasing the DMT to better see the danger lurking by because two strings of the universe sometimes do touch and overlap briefly.
Which could be a reasoning behind apparitions.
Yes I brought up string theory.
I'm impressed this wasn't a copy pasta.

So, are you incoherently rambling for any good goal? Because going on about spirit realms, seeing things, blah, blah seems like a plea for attention, confusion based on hallucinations in the past, or desperately wanting something to be true and due to a large gap of ignorance you're making things up to try to fill in that gap.

I giggled when I read that because I love creepypastas.
No it's not a cry for help, but you can view what I say as you will.
I get help when needed, but IRL not on a forum that I just joined.
I'm an adult and I know the line and I'm sorry if I have insulted you
that was not my intension I was purely making a speculation
and yeah sure it could be completely skewed to you but
I was only sharing an idea.

Maybe my view is a gap,
but just like I asked earlier "what is reality truly?"
Okay, now I'm slightly less confused.
Are you trying to write in stanzas? Don't worry about offending me, I can take different views, no matter how hard they might hit. I was just confused by what you were saying since it seemed really bizarre and you were talking about some people seeing a 'spirit realm' and seeing some sort of group hallucinations. Sorry if I came off as abrasive, I've had my own share of experiences I can't really explain, but the way you presented what you were saying is different than what I'm used to.

wait so if I expect nothing to happen will I just be standing in an empty void of nothing like what happened to Squidward
The problem I see is that your dreams don't always just go with however you want them to. It's pretty much all conjecture.
I also rarely ever have dreams so that is another factor
According to science, you have them every night in REM sleep, but you just don't always remember them.
Well yeah but I thought you were supposed to remember most of them, I basically never do
Eh, it depends. For me I tend to remember the ones that were either fun or traumatic. The average ones just get lost in my mind and are only accessible when I'm in that dream state of mind.

apparently scientists hypothesize that this gland is responsible for our sentience and perception of time. If this is truly the case...there is still so much about the world around us that we don't know about.

It makes me wonder if that's why some people are very punctual and others, like myself, cannot keep track of time no matter how hard they try. The pineal gland is also thought to be responsible for gifted sight meaning you can see into the spirit realm, and even a link into other dimensions.

Here's a cool article I found on that:
http://in5d.com/pineal-gland-portal-of-higher-dimensions/
i especially like how the article mentions Tibetan Buddhists and how they believe that it takes 49 days for a deceased soul to find a new home, yet on the 49th day of prenatal development, the pineal gland is formed.

This is some real thought-provoking shit, that's for sure
Just because numbers match doesn't mean that the Buddhists are right or the Illuminati is real. Come on guys.

What happens if you're completely vaporized though?
well, if you're vaporized fast enough I'd assume that you wouldn't get this experience since the pineal gland never gets a chance to kick in
The whole thought is really weird though. Living for eternity in the past. Like, Hammurabi would still be alive right now, though he's been decomposed to bones thousands of years ago if you get where I'm going at.
The mind drags the experience out. You've noticed this before when you have a dream that felt like it was really long, when in actuality little time had passed. The brain only drags it out so far, so even with this "river" of the chemical, you would still end the dream with you actually dying. For lack of a better term, I suppose you would wake up dead.

because it's obnoxious, and it insults not only women, but the intelligence of all male consumers
Depicting the female body is insulting to women and the intelligence of all men? I'm really not getting what point you're trying to make here. Why she looks like she does in relation to the story and the traits of the characters has been explained in here, and it has nothing to do with arousal.

you can talk about how characters killing each other in the story is fine, because it's a story
and killing is often a necessary component of telling a specific type of story

but killing isn't a good idea outside of that universe
in fact, it's one of the worst things you could ever do
and before you say it

the reason i'm okay with having killing in games is because no one's actually being killed

when you exploit something's aesthetic, however
you are actually exploiting that aesthetic
What's so inherently wrong with showing a kinda naked lady in a video game, then? How is this harming anyone?

well i'm sorry, but if you're going to misconstrue my argument that badly, it's almost not worth having the discussion

to answer your question--no
you can have female characters

obviously
I didn't say "can't", I said "shouldn't". It's pretty clear that you can have female characters.

So, you shouldn't have a female character, because that can only mean that you want to arouse male gamers?

Your loss. Doesn't really matter much to me if you want to ignore an entire claim based on one sentence you disagree with.

it's just using logic

why would they make the AI female in the first place?
why would they give her a female form?

why did her femininity grow more defined as the series progressed?
So, you shouldn't have a female character, because that can only mean that you want to arouse male gamers?
They gave her a female form because her gender is female, that's pretty darn simple.

Well, her character traits were pretty consistent, overall. The only thing that really changed was her model, which changed over time because, y'know, you have more resources and can now make her look more human and realistic. Does she look sexualized? It's kind of hard for her not to seeing as how she's technically naked, but focusing on that would be completely ignoring her personality and who she is. She's not just some pretty model, she's the reason the supersoldier male protagonist stayed alive during what they went through.

Now that I think of it, it's really appropriate in a way. Chief is always in his armor, never do we see his human body, his feature, he's entirely closed off. Whereas Cortana is outright exposed, even as an AI, a machine, she shows all the human features, expressions, and thought that Chief hides behind his armor.

It would be like ranting about hating the experience of rock climbing when you've never done it in your life.
smart of you to use the term "experience" in there

because yeah, i actually can have an opinion on rock climbing, even though i've never done it in my life
just not the experience itself

the only thing i can't assert is my opinion on the experience of playing halo 4, because i've never had the experience
but i can still comment on the things that i see from it

and the thing i'm choosing to comment on from what i've seen is cortana's design
which is oversexualized, for the sole purpose of appealing to pubescent male gamers
it's just a fact
So, you can prove beyond the point of any reasonable doubt that Cortana's design was changed purely to give teenagers boners? Please, continue.

but his whole point was that i couldn't have an opinion on the game if i haven't played it yet
you can obviously have an opinion on the game's story, though, without playing it
I think it was pretty obviously implied that he meant you can't have an educated opinion on it without having played it.

It would be like ranting about hating the experience of rock climbing when you've never done it in your life.

I really don't think Halsey would've been allowed access to make another clone of herself and more or less kill it to make another Cortana.

But yeah, the ending is terribly awkward. First time I saw it I was just utterly confused as it seemed so horribly out of place. Even seeing it recently it's still very awkward, the dialogue is bizarre, there are things implied that probably weren't meant to be and those things make it even more awkward(Honestly, do you really think so many people thought 343i were making Cortana and Chief a couple for no reason?), and the whole nuke thing by itself is mind-numbing. Chief was pretty much standing on top of the ship, so about half of that blast should've gone off into space. Isn't the Didact's banana ship made out of majorly hardlight, or at least coated, how does Cortana's hardlight beat the warship's? How does the nuke magically get blocked by the hardlight when Chief's hands are holding the side of it and on the detonator?  Why is Chief perfectly okay inside the hardlight box, but as soon as it goes away he's just laying there like he's crippled? How did Cortana talk to Chief inside his suit after the podium her chip was put into got blasted by the Didact? And like you said, how does she generate the hardlight box for Chief if everything outside is destroyed, where is she?

Why does bagged milk exist?
Because it's so cold in Canadia that it automatically freezes outside. Having the milk in a solid container makes it harder to break apart the chunks of ice milk for you to melt when you want some to drink.

People actually listen to that?

Yes sir they do
I don't know whether to be impressed they have that much time to waste or sad that they choose to waste it doing that.

It's not that terrible actually. Some interesting conversations tend to come up that are worth listening to.
I have friends I can talk to rather than listening to other people talk. Or I could always talk to some random stranger or group of people if I am that desperate.
