You can make art with food, but food isn't in it of itself art.
If that were true then Subway's employees wouldn't be sandwich artists, yet they are.
::)

i knew someone was going to bring that stupid shit up
I'll take that as a concession. /thread

then when mentioning the other two compare them to as many white martyrs/heroes as you possibly can and criticize how they fall short of those white folk.
That isn't racist at all.
If he left out the part on Rodney King fulfilling or surpassing those standards he holds the white martyrs to, then it could well be. Context.
So talking about "white martyrs" and saying they're better as opposed to black ones isn't racist?

LOL
While I know you lack the ability to understand and appreciate the finer things in life, I assure you that in the details that is not racist. If the goal was to be racist, then it could be done much much better.

Structuring the essay like so, ain't racist.
-Intro
-Rodney King was heroic and martyr for reasons
-These two niggers died trying, but here are people that did it better(these people as examples that did it better by chance are all white)
-end

Just a quick question, did any of you feel anything during the fall of the jedi? When it was showing Jedi masters like aayla secura, Ki adi Mundi, and Plo Koon being betrayed and killed by their own troops?
RIP Commander Gree

Because no human being on the planet Earth ever harbored any negative feelings towards the prequels until Red Letter Media came along.

So, you're saying that if you were in the position you wouldn't find it at all incredibly odd or suspicious that the Supreme Chancellor starts telling you some ancient Sith mythology that's relevant to a problem you're dealing with when you just came by to watch the opera with him?
I'm saying I don't know what the fuck I'd do, or how the fuck I'd react. I'm also in a universe filled with weird fucking aliens and laser swords and shit. A universe where the "good" and "evil" are bluntly defined, and there is little to no ambivalence whatsoever. I'm not exactly living in a rational universe to begin with.
How is the scenery and biology of the people relevant here? On the simplest level, doesn't that seem like a huge tell, like the odds of that being a coincidence would be slim to none? If as you said, good and evil are bluntly defined, shouldn't the point be all that more obvious?

3370
anyone with half a brain could pick that out and say "uhhhh you what now?" but nope. not anakin.
Do you realize how easy that is to say as an audience member?

Seems like you've been watching too much Mr. Plinkett.

I don't know, that's a tough one to bullshit your way out of, because what he's asking you to do is bullshit in itself. What kind of college forces you to write from a specific viewpoint on a subject, and not let you choose your own?

If you really have to do it focus more on Rodney King, then when mentioning the other two compare them to as many white martyrs/heroes as you possibly can and criticize how they fall short of those white folk.

Technically, it isn't.
yeah, not on a federal level anyway

but many states have laws against it. theyre wrong!
That's just saying the authority/court has to approve of it.
yeah, so legal on a federal level. like i said.

however, many states have statutes forbidding it.
I don't know why they'd want to keep stupid people wanting to kill each other alive, but I doubt they'd legalize it for the sanctity of human life or something.

*Cringes*

Besides, God knows everything, we don't.
There wasn't anything cringey about it.

Besides, God isn't real, we are.
This might be shocking news to you, but humans have these things called opinions.
and, shockingly enough, opinions can be wrong.

the idea that people worship a levantine war god as the singular, all-powerful deity is laughable. its almost as funny as someone who still sacrifices goats to apollo.
Nice argument. You're wrong, I'm right, nanaabooboo
im coming at this from a historical perspective. yahweh was a minor god who stood as the canaanite answer to chemosh, a war god; yahweh was a legendary figure who led heavenly forces against the enemies of israel/canaan. eventually, he was seen as a deity. the yahwists worked for a long time to push him to the forefront of the canaanite religion, eventually pushing for a monotheistic tradition (much like the amarna revolution).

i dont think there is any logical reason to believe that yahweh, the god of christians, exists in the capacity that they believe he does. i dont believe he exists at all, but when you consider the history of yahwism, its pretty fucking obvious that the story has changed wildly over time. that isnt consistent with the popular rhetoric about "god."
I don't take it you have some sort of source or reference that I could look at to judge the accuracy of what you're saying? It's not really that easy to provide a counterargument when I lack the references you must have.

lolwut? Ani vs Obi has plenty of emotion in it. Just because you didn't like it doesn't mean there isn't.

That's like saying you don't like the color blue, so blue doesn't exist.

Try harder next time.

What kind of emotion, aside from two grown ass men who get pussy at each other going into a duel...just because?

A reminder that we're talking about this guy:
YouTube

Big deal, he uses humor in his reviews. He's playing a character, you know...

I know, he's hilarious. But that's the point, he's there to rile people up; he's not the word of law on what is and isn't good film content.

Exactly.

The majority of his reviews consist of his dark humor and him comparing the three movies to other films that have nothing to do with, or even resemble the franchise in anyway. His actual points are made in segments 15 minutes apart from each other, to the point that he's used so much nonsense in between, it makes it seem like he's trying to form a constructive argument, when in reality it falls flat on it's face.

EDIT: Gonna get back to my thread about those reviews

You obviously never watched his reviews then if you believe this.

I've watched each of them around 10 times each, and am now slowly writing a review of his reviews.

You've obviously have either never seen the prequels or have had a progressive thought of your own if you use those reviews as an actual base for your argument.

I believe you said you were going to get your "review" up a few days ago.

Anyways, I have seen the prequels.   Yes they were cool to watch in terms of fights but otherwise I was fucking bored.  I was about 7 when Phantom Menace got released and I went to go see it, excitement literally oozing out of me.

90% of the movie had me almost fall asleep.

I just said I would make one. Never game a time frame, so I don't know where you're making that assumption.  And you sound like a kid with serious attention issues then.

Nah, more like the movie was boring.  Your defense of the prequels is fucking hilarious.

By that logic, anything that can't keep an autistic 7 year old's attention is boring.
Dude, every fucking kid in the world at the time those movies came out couldn't give a single, solitary, shit about anything other than the fight scenes. Going back to watch them again should only confirm to you there was a reason for that, and it is that they are boring and very plainly done.

No need to get bitchy because someone disagrees with you.

>Thinks I'm getting bitchy over text on the internet on some backwater forum.

lol k buddy

Also, that's a retarded argument. So every kids that went to go see Star Wars when they were 10 years old or below went to go see it for lightsaber fights? Come on now, you're really scraping the barrel there for a reason. I know I wasn't that way when I saw the prequels. I know my older family members weren't that way when they saw the originals in theater. You go see a movie for the story, no matter what age you are (unless you suffer from down syndrome) as long as you can think critically about something. Only an utter moron would pay for the theater to see fight choreography.

Think of a better bait at least.
You don't seem to understand how 10 year olds think. Contrary to what you might imagine, they don't give a damn about drama baybehs or politics. Yes, they do care about the story, but everything between the fights counts as filler to get to the fights.

I don't care about your anecdotal references to how you might've been different as a 10 year old, or that your parents, surprisingly enough, didn't have standard 10 year old mentality.

I also don't care about your extreme butt-flustering over a simple fact. Denying it does not make it any less of an existence, green texting most certainly doesn't. It's only a further sign of immaturity which happens to correlate with becoming more emotional in conversations or debates.

3386

You, actually.

I expected these answers from you two in particular >.>
See, there it is. You don't have the guts to say it outright.

I actually wasn't being passive aggressive in that post. I was being serious, I really did expect you both to say me.
I think the big issue is how other people interpret my posts. I don't mean to, but how I word something may "appear to be" passive aggressive, when I'm really not trying to be.

If I want to talk crap about somebody, I will.
I just rarely ever want to.
I don't fucking remember telling you to reply.

I'm the OP, I DO WHAT I WANT CHALLY
You're also not a mod lol

I'm anxious to see a new joke for me.
That one has really been run into the ground by several people.
But it still gets you mad FUCKING LOL

Saying I'm mad, doesn't make it true. If it did make me angry, I'd have exploded by now don't you think?
It's been going on for months now.
I don't think you quite understand what passive aggressive means.

I do in fact.

That comment wasn't on the subject of passive aggressiveness, it was on the whole "I'm not a mOD" thing.
Well you aren't.

And you would be CORRECT ^__________^
