I'd love it if they removed every nuke and nothing happened.
They have an entire group against them, they'll never win unless they kill The Patriots IRL. Which I don't think I would put past MGS fans.

Spoiler
Apparently five chapters were originally planned. Chapters four and five were cut out during storyboarding, and chapter three ("Peace") was cut during development. The titlecard and a few different materials for it can be found on the disc. Chapter two was just straight up slashed to ribbons.

I heard Ground Zeroes was the first chapter, with Revenge and Race being the second and third, Peace woulda been the fourth (although I think this might still be a possibility. Why else would there be another 7 GBs on the console version?) and chapter 5 woulda been an epilogue like MGS4.

In a perfect world, we get 5 full chapters. But sadly we don't live in a perfect world.
Is someone datamining it, if not how do I do it?

Okay, I beat mission 46 and now I'm confused. Was that it? They ended it there?

Spoiler
There was supposed to be another chapter where Eli took over an island, but that got cut.
Spoiler
Considering the amount of missing story between MGSV and MG, I'd say there must've been more than just a couple missions where you go track Eli down, break his toys, send his friends home, and put him in time out.

What about Big Boss vs Big Boss like Ocelot said in a tape? And Big Boss becoming a twisted version of his former self, Ocelot going from a pretty chill dude to becoming a cranky old man, and what happened to Kaz's hamburger business?

I honestly don't believe this would have happened if the kid was any other ethnicity.

It's seriously bullshit, and not even reasonable bullshit. That clock does not look like a bomb, and if you think it does look like a bomb you've seen too many fucking movies.

tbh people watching too many movies informs a lot of bullshit, like firearm suppressor bans.

We're dealing with high school freshmen and teachers/faculty. It's really not the cream of the crop that were thrown into a situation where a student pulls out a metal box with a digital clock/timer unannounced.

For the American educational system this is not at all surprising; it has more than its fair share of idiots that don't understand technology, are gullible, and will blindly follow the rules even if people get hurt in the end. An example: I had to explain to both a tutorial class and the teacher that Mermaids weren't real, Megalodon is extinct, and the Discovery channel just wanted views.

I can't tell you if it would've been less likely to happen if the kid was white, but I'm pretty sure the media wouldn't have cared as much if the kid wasn't a Muslim minority.

Good as in, compared to Halo 3/ Reach? Or good compared to the quality of ODST or Halo 4?

Story wise.

I stop by town often now so I may get the TTK edition so I get everything. But then Halo and Fallout come out in a month so I dunno.

I don't know if I can compare it to the stories from Halo, but if I had to - maybe ODST?

The story in TTK is much darker and somber than the vanilla game and original two DLC packs, and the new enemy help give it a pseudo-horror feel in some spots. It also feels much more focused - you aren't just going planet to planet killing bad guys, at least in the main quest-line. It's pretty much "This God is pissed at you and is coming to kill you. Your endgoal is the kill him first", and these quests all build to that conclusion - preparing your ship, getting you new powers, and then having you explore the new area to find him.

I hope that answers your question.
If you can just kill this god, he's not really much of a god, is he?

You've obviously never played God of war
God of war isn't canon.

i would prefer it if future questions asked by me weren't answered until i finish the game, though

K.

Regarding how the flood aren't scary, Bungie do a shit job of setting a tone in a game. The novels depict the war as how fighting an ultra advanced alien empire where one of te species capture and eat humans. Eat them like hot dogs.
What more did you really want them to do for Guilty Spark to set tone? You had the mission start off in a foggy swamp with crashed gunships looping audio signals, the covenant are running away in terror from something you can't see, there's friendly blips on your motion tracker but if you look where they come from there's nothing or a hazy figure in the distance, and once you finally get inside there's blood and corpses all over the place. I feel like that pretty definitively sets the tone for the mission and builds up for the flood's reveal.

You're the one who's using it in relation to body type.
And, for the record, I think you're the odd man out here. I've honestly never once heard physical appearance alone equated to the phrase "In-shape." And I've grown very accustomed to athletic and fitness jargon. It is always used in the context of athletic capabilities.
I miscredited Assassin's quote to you earlier, but I'm saying athletic capabilities matter a lot more than physical appearance.
I mean, in terms of functionality, yes, but there are varying types of functionality that disallow certain physical skills to be applied usefully in other areas of manual labor. Standing outside this issue as well, whether or not somebody's physical appearance matters more or less than their ability to perform some task is mostly subjective.
I'm talking about the "fit" definition. There's a big difference between looking like a bodybuilder and being in shape. If you're thin, but can run around, play sports, etc, without getting winded then you're in shape. It's a general term.
Dude, it sounds like you're only considering cardio to mean in shape, and that muscle strength is nothing. That's pretty silly.

man you guys are getting really worked up about this
Apparently the thought that some people benefit in various ways from physical exercise/strength training, while others don't, is difficult to get.

Also, that nobody is the same in so whether or not a person should have more or less muscle widely varies.

$40 should still be equal to 2/3 of a full game's content. Does it really have that?
you get vanilla destiny, the dark below, the house of wolves, and the taken King for 60 bucks. Well worth 60 buck imo. If you bought destiny, the dlc, and the expansion separately you def got scammed hard
So now it's a full game for $60 that's still shitty? Neat

shitty until the taken king
I feel completely confident in my assumption that it's still shit.

You can be fit without being buff. Being thin is being fit, and it looks way less gross.
You said muscled, having muscles is a requirement for being fit. Are we using thin/skinny, and buff/muscular  interchangeably? If so, that's kinda dumb.
Uh, no. Not at all. You don't need muscles to be fit. If you're thin, you're fit.

And yeah....they're synonyms.
If you don't exercise, then you're not physically fit. If you're physically fit, then you will have developed muscles. How does this need saying?
I do exercise, and I don't have muscles galore like some people, because I just do cardio. Being fit just means you're not out of shape.
The heart is a muscle.

...They're not synonyms at all. Being "Thin" speaks very little about your actual athletic training or your cardiovascular health.
Thin and skinny are synonyms....buff and muscular are synonyms. I never said thin and fit are synonyms, but yeah, if you're not chubby or fat, you're in shape. You don't need to have muscles to be physically fit.
So, if you're anorexic and weigh 90lbs, you're fit/in shape?

Nah, just wasps and hornets.

It's funny because I've been working next to a wasps nest for the last month solid with maybe 20 of them in the air at any one time and not a single one has been remotely aggressive.

If you scream and run around and flap at them like a chimp on fire, or kill them, then yeah you'll piss them off and they'll attack but if you ignore them and just work around them peacefully they ignore you equally.
That's bullshit because as a kid I killed them and sprayed them with water guns like it was a job. The only time I ever got stung was when I was pulling a bike out of a shed and there happened to be 2 in the shed and they decided "fuck this guy". The only reason they live is to fuck shit up.
