Matchmaking for war zone is pretty trash. I keep getting put up against organized teams with a bunch of randos.
That's called playing Halo.

wymen isn't how women pronounced, frenchy.

Some people do pronounce it like that, though.

Anyways, I was just trying to illustrate a point.
Personally, I've always been more of a fan of how K and C are completely interchangeable and we could really do with only one.

French is a stupid language. There's literally no order to the fucking words.

So? The English language is just as fucked.

The "gh" in "enough" has the same annunciation as an "f"

The "o" in "women" is sometimes pronounced like an "i"

The "ti" in any word ending in "-tion" is pronounced like an "sh"

By these rules, the word "ghoti" is pronounced "fish"
wymen isn't how women pronounced, frenchy.

The only french person I know is Jacques Clouseau, and he seemed pretty cool.

Spoiler
Although he at least spoke in English

Spoiler
Also, that was painful to spell out.

Doesn't help that all three friendly spartans are mapped to the same button

Seriously, we have three spare buttons, why not map one to Buck/ Kelly, Vale/ Linda and Tanaka/ Fred? It woukd be so much easier
Uh, why? If there's only one command in the game, then sure I guess. Otherwise, it'd make sense to have the different commands mapped to different keys, and whoever is in the best place to do the command does it. Assuming it's a thing one teammate does at a time.

Friendly AI is absolute garbage. Kat's driving was better
I'm doing legendary end I ended up getting down in front of a single Jackal and this is what happened.  One AI ran up to me and ended up getting downed and a few seconds latter the same thing happened to the other AI. That single Jackal ended up downing those two Spartans withing seconds due to shitty AI. Even with having AI companions we might as well be playing solo due to once again another Halo game with shitty friendly AI. I'm not asking for them to play the game for you but is it too much to ask for AI that can do something?
From the look and sound of it, Republic Commando had better AI and it came out 10 years ago and had the same director Halo 5 did. I guess the team is just incompetent for whatever reason.

and why Palmer and Halsey are buddy-buddy confuses me greatly.

I too am confused.

Generally, if someone were to shoot me in the arm and lead to said limbs amputation, I would not be buddy buddy with them.

Ah. We're dealing with more stuff behind the scenes. At one point Palmer found Halsey again and had a gun at her but she couldn't take the shot.

Palmer's not exactly a dummy. She's just a tad insecure about being a dummy is all. So she put all that stuff aside and now her and Halsey are mildly agreeable to each other.
This all sounds terribly silly. If some chick shot my arm, and I only had a bunch of hicks to help me so they amputated, then said chick shows up later and points her gun at me again and doesn't shoot, I'm still not going to be anywhere near okay with that. Begrudgingly work with, yes, but I can't see a good reason to be okay with someone that went all gung-ho zealot on your ass.

Apparently the cutscenes are "fanfiction tier cringe", according to some people I'm talking to about it who went and watched them, or some of them without playing the game

This actually true?
No. They're fine.

Roman is just full of salt that his green waifu isn't the main protagonist
Visor cracking is pretty shenanigans, mate.

It also seems like they glazed over explaining why Cortana changed, why the guardians are a thing(they had plenty more effective means of controlling species & worlds.), Cortana and Chief shit-talking Halsey when Chief thought of her like a mother and I can't remember Cortana ever hating her, and why Palmer and Halsey are buddy-buddy confuses me greatly.

Maybe I missed stuff, probably, idk.

Do you really want to know how many kids and some teachers a man with a sword would be able to get through before police responded?

The different locations the attacks occurred at do matter significantly.
Not gonna argue with the fact that these were two very different situations, but you have to admit that it's considerably easier to run away from or fight a guy with a sword than it would be with a gunman. Multiple people surrounding him and keeping him busy with chairs or any makeshift weapon/shield would probably be pretty effective, and if you attack a crowd with a sword you might be able to get some while the vast majority will run away by the time you can get to them. It's a lot harder to run from a rain of bullets, and it's a lot easier to use a gun to injure and kill a group of people than it is with a sword.

Two very different scenarios that should hardly be compared, but you can't honestly argue that it would be harder for the guy to kill and injure more kids if he had access to a bunch of guns rather than a sword.
Trying to hypothetically play out how things would happen in a fight like this generally doesn't work very accurately. Saying that "Oh, the victims could crowd the man with the sword, or pick up broomsticks and fight him off" doesn't sound like a very strong argument to me. If a man with a sword walks into a room full of Grade School kids, that's not ending well unless the teacher has a weapon and gets in front of the attacker first, even then it's a gamble. The only definitive thing that would stop the assailant is someone with a firearm. Anything else stopping them is subject to luck.

It doesn't need to be harder to kill kids with a gun than a sword, the end result is likely to be similar. Unfortunately in the case of a sword attack, you will have more gore and any survivors are probably more likely to be traumatized.

That sounds a hell of a lot better to me tbqhwym8.

Yeah, and the world would still be a pretty shitty place. So. . .
I think it should be easy to grasp the idea of the less chaos and people slaughtering each other, the better.

Nobody said it would be perfect. Just better.

Oh look at that, you don't need guns to hurt and kill many people. Gun problem? No, it's a PEOPLE problem
2 dead here by sword, 27 dead in Sandy Hook by firearm.

Yeah, it's a gun problem. Accept it.
Do you really want to know how many kids and some teachers a man with a sword would be able to get through before police responded?

Yeah exactly. Some kids don't even choose to take geography.
I'm pretty sure you're supposed to know where your country is on a map by the time you're 14, though.

So 4 people injured/killed in the attack, 2 happened to be immigrants, therefore the motive is clearly he's a right-wing facist that hated immigrants. Bravo Sweden.
If you're going to comment on an incident at least read up on it properly.
Quote
A police spokeswoman said the conclusion was reached because of "the way (the suspect) dressed and behaved but also how he picked his victims, who had a specific ethnic background." Items found in the man's home contributed to the determination of motive, she said.
Well that was a nice one line that I guess I missed. They didn't explain that any further?

Actually I do know a person from NZ that never knew where the US was so it's good to clarify for people who don't know.
There was some kid in my 9th grade history class who didn't know where the US was on a map.

What do you mean brought back?

And yes, now she's a solid hologram for 12 year olds to get off to.
