Knowing how competitive the Sith usually are about becoming in charge, Vader probably had Maul killed to eliminate any possible competition somewhere between 3 and 4, along with hunting down the last remaining Jedi.
Except a lot of Jedi supposedly lived, unless Disney says fuck that, and Palps likes having lots of mini-Sith assassins and hoodlums running about killing guys. Again, unless Disney wants to continue shitting all over everything.

Well, that doesn't really matter because he's still alive unless confirmed otherwise, and Disney really does feel like shitting all over the EU completely.

I'm fairly sure the only media we've gotten that takes place after Return of the Jedi is The Force Awakens. That's why I said "There are no more Sith after Episode 6 that we know of." As far as I know.
Kylo Ren is no Sith, Snoke is no Sith. At least, they were never confirmed to be.

He did that when in Episode III he killed all but 2 Jedi and there were 2 Sith left. There were more than 2 Jedi that survived Order 66.
And there were more than 2 Sith after Episode 6
Not that we know of.
You can know of them if you google them. Or if you're riding the EU isn't canon train, which doesn't make a lot of sense since you were talking about the Jedi origins, I'm sure that Maul is still around and some other guys have shown up in the Rebels kid show

Balance refers to a balance between being an emotionless husk of a monk and being a raging lunatic that does cartwheels through the air while screaming.
No. When the Force reached out to the first force-sensitive people who ever existed, they were, essentially, Jedi. It wasn't until people got ballsy and started tampering with it that they began to use the unnatural abilities of the Force, hence, the imbalance.
The entire prophecy confirms this. There's no balance until the imbalance is removed (imbalance being, dark side of the Force users.)
I don't remember everything offhand, but that's not what I recall being in the EU. The prophecy also amounts to dick-munch nothing as everything continues as if nothing happened after Anakin dies.

When Anakin was prophecied to bring balance to the force, the Jedi expected Anakin to destroy the Sith. So clearly their idea of "the force in balance" is no Sith.
And eventually Anakin did just that, as Darth Vader when he killed Sidious.
He did that when in Episode III he killed all but 2 Jedi and there were 2 Sith left. It's a purposely vague statement that can be contorted and was likely made by some force user on shrooms.

Can't believe people would be defending people posting spoilers.
Seriously if you get enjoyment out of ruining someone's entertainment, you're a fucking loser and you really need to look in the mirror and reevaluate your life.

Such strong and compelling arguments. Truly I must concede to your wonderful logic of, "Wow, you must be a troll" and "You're stupid". How could I have been so daft, surely I must pay penance for this sin I have committed.

You don't even know that spoiler he told you is true until you see it as the director intended, though.
So? I'll be expecting it.
And even if the spoiler is untrue, I'll still be expecting it -- and that twists my perception of the movie in a way the director did not anticipate when she directed the movie.
You're only expecting it if you choose to expect it. Nobody is making you expect it, if you cannot suspend belief that it will happen, there is possibly some ability you are lacking.

Are you implying I want to know everything about a movie before I see it?
>Caring about spoilers lmao
It's like you lack all reading comprehension.

Nice refutation
>who cares about spoilers? >you think I like spoilers?
Nice double quote So, in an attempt to dumb this down even more, it doesn't matter, that doesn't mean I like spoilers or dislike them, I have no strong feelings one way or the other. Do you comprehend, amigo?

If you don't care about spoilers, by extension, you don't care if you know everything about the movie before you watch it.
There's inherently something magical about watching a movie for the first time that you shouldn't be able to deny someone.
I am thoroughly classifying this under opinion.

How does knowing what's going to happen make it less enjoyable? Because learning is fun. Duh.
And arguably, if I spoil the movie for you, wouldn't that count as learning the plot for the first time, and be more enjoyable then watching the movie itself?
No, you fucking retard, because I didn't get to see it unfold in the way that the director intended. I didn't "watch" anything, either -- you just fucking told me.
You don't even know that spoiler he told you is true until you see it as the director intended, though.

I always enjoy movies more when I can focus on the little things without worrying about the plot as a whole. Why do I give a fuck? You're wrong.
For every time you watch a movie, there will never be a time list that first time. That inherently makes it more valuable than any rewatch ever will be.
You do realize there will never be another second or zeroth time, right? Aren't those as incomprehensibly valuable as the first?

So you've never enjoyed a movie more than the first time you saw it? You've never paid attention to the details and intricacies of the film after getting the general idea of it the first time around? No, obviously. But nothing compares to the first time you watch a movie. I was reading about a critic who said "If I could have one wish, it would be to watch my favourite movie for the first time again."
Nothing compares to that first time. Nothing.
While that sounds terribly nostalgiac and all that, I'd prefer to not waste my life wanting another first cheap high and be a bit more thoughtful and inquisitive. Critics say a lot of things, and a lot of those lot of things are stupid lots of things and lots of opinion things. Really, what specifically ruins a movie for you about knowing it before? The substance of a film is not the story, but how the story is told. If the story is told very well, then knowing it before shouldn't ruin your appreciation for it.

>Camping with a shotty
the reach shotgun was really really really really strong. this isnt a terrible idea depending on context. eg, lets say in a team slayer match your team has map control on sanctuary. that means control of ring and both carbines. in that scenario, you can comfortably sit in ring 2 with your dmr and shotgun and control each individual entrance as well as helping teamshoot at spawn zones.
Yes, yes, I'm aware it's a legitimate strategy.

Or you learn that knowing a movie's plot points don't make watching it any less enjoyable and move on with your miserable life.
Except it does.
So you've never enjoyed a movie more than the first time you saw it? You've never paid attention to the details and intricacies of the film after getting the general idea of it the first time around? I'm sorry, but if that is true you sound terribly dull.

People who spoil movies on online forums should publicly get their eyes gouged out and their bleeding ocular sockets raped
Or a 3 day ban.
Whichever is appropriate

I'm sorry everybody isn't like you and actually doesn't want to know everything that happens before they see a brand new movie.
Are you implying I want to know everything about a movie before I see it? It's something that is irrelevant to enjoyment of a film, I don't care one way or the other. The only difference being that when you know something you can choose to pay attention and look for signs that foreshadow the event(s) you know will occur, or pay greater attention to the details of the film.
