The only reviews that interest me are about a games performance. If the reviews say it's a shit port then I'll avoid it.

Wolfenstein: The New Order

Great game. If you like alternate history then this is a must buy. It takes a modern shooter and still keeps some old school mechanics (non-regenerating health).

Dragon's Dogma.
Easily worth it. The combat is something that is outstanding and it's a shame more games don't do it. Story isn't amazing, but I found the whole concept behind it pretty great, especially the ending. But the bosses are epic.

Thanks for the suggestion. Just purchased it.

I feel like I'm on the shorter end of waiting to see if it will get better later. I think I'll try Dishonored again and give it another chance.

When playing a new game how much time do you give it before deciding if it's worth to continue playing/returning to the store? Are there any games with slow starts that you loved later?

Vince McMahon. Just imagine a WWE White House. "Tonight Mike "Electric Fence" Pence takes on Joe Biden for the Murica' Heavy Weight Title."

My biggest issue is the gimmick boss fights. You have to purposely handicap yourself if you want to have a true tough fight against Yhorm (not use the Storm Ruler), which is how I think it should have been originally. The fact that the Abyss Watcher can be back-stabbed is just insulting. Parrying is fine because it requires the skill to time it correctly, but backstabs are just an easy way out. Almost forgot about the Ancient Wyvern fight. Hurr just do a one hit kill plunging attack.

Always online, micro-transactions, season passes, etc.

For me, if a game doesn't have some form of single-player then I'll skip it.
