Basically Linux's operating system. They have two different OS's actually, Ubuntu and Mint

It's a Linux distribution to be more accurate.  There are hundreds if not thousands of Linux distributions that exist.

Why would you purchase a custom Ubuntu laptop when any modern laptop that has an x86 processor can run Ubuntu?

I once told my dad to "stop being a cunt."  Other than that I can't really think of anything else as I have a pretty good relationship with my family members.

The First game was really fun. I'll most likely get it.

I've almost got all the mask in the first one.  I just need to complete the password to get the Nigel mask.

Craziest one I can think of:

I was walking through my high school, and it was deserted except a few people.
Lights were off, it was dark and creepy.
I hear gunshots, and run through the halls trying to not die of course.
I meet up with 2 or 3 others, and they say "He's right behind you....."

So I just take off running down the hall and I'm cutting corners as fast as I can.
I don't get shot, but one of the shots rang RIGHT when I woke up.

holy shit that's fucking intense.

wait why do people hate cowpie now

If I were to shoot a guess it might have to do with his authoritarian behavior in the plug.dj chatroom.  That might have something to do with it.  That's just my guess though.

I tend to remember my sexual/sex dreams more than any other dream

Those I usually forget.  It's the ones that are bizarre such as the one where I was in a church in the middle of nowhere with absolutely nothing else in sight that stick out in my mind.

I have yet to have a serious job, sadly I wasn't able to get one this summer because of my move.

Good luck though, OP.

Thanks, you as well.

How does it feel knowing that if your employer could legally pay you any less, they would?

It's pretty obvious that they would.

The Flood / Re: Would you want the internet to suddenly disappear?
« on: August 26, 2014, 09:13:10 PM »
It's just the thing of them being there in front of you, rather than up to the other side of the world. It's not something that I can really explain, it's sort of just there.

I understand where you're coming from on that subject but the Internet does help a lot with keeping in touch with loved ones who you do know in real life.  The fact that I can Skype with my cousin over in Amsterdam an entire ocean away is amazing in of itself and was most likely unthinkable just a couple hundred years ago.

What's it like knowing your job is completely unnecessary and could easily be done by the cashier?

I also do other things such as mopping floors, taking in carts and whatever needs to be done.  And in a grocery store where you often have carts overflowing with items the role of bagboy is necessary.
