Gaming / Boy I sure do love games.

The Halo series has to be my favorite series of all time (with the exception of Halo Wars and Halo 4).

Also, BioShock and BioShock Infinite.

I didn't play Halo Wars, so by default I pick Cortana.

Never been much of a fan of games where you can't fight back. They usually get pretty boring as soon as you get familiar with the enemy AI.
You can fight back against the humans and androids, but you can't kill the Xenomorph. You can hurt it with a flamethrower though.
I didn't know you also fight humans and androids. It looked like simply running away from the alien the entire game.
No. Fortunately, that's not the case.

Well I haven't gotten too far into the game, but I love everything about it. I'll say yes to that one. The game is about 30 hours long, by the way, so if you don't have the time for it, I would wait.

10 hours in and I think it's great. It does get boring every now and then but the Alien encounters are great. The Alien kind of loses it's fear factor after the second encounter but there are still tons of tense moments throughout the game. To be honest the game kind of becomes a stealth game with a horror element rather then a survival horror game that I was hoping for. I think it's awesome. What do you think of it so far? (If you've played it yet lol)
I think it's amazing. I love the mechanics, AI, sounds, scenery, etc. The story is pretty cool so far, but I'm not too into it yet because I only got a couple of hours to play last night.

The farthest I've gotten is that part with all the androids who anally rape you if you don't keep running.
What?
Joking, of course. You have to get out of this area and there's a bunch of murderous androids chasing after you. If you don't get to an elevator before they catch you, then they smash your face in.
That is by far one of the scariest and coolest thing Ive ever heard.
Yeah, I got to the point where I made it to the elevator but kept missing the button to make it go up. When I finally got it I turned around to see one of the fuckers squeezing through the elevator doors just as it closed and I was trapped with him in there. Needless to say, it wasn't a pleasant ride.

I think I'm going to pass. Since August I have bought Metro Redux, Destiny (lol), Shadow of Mordor, and Forza Horizon. Love the Alien universe though.
I see. How is Forza Horizon 2?
It has some pretty impressive visuals. I've only been playing it in small doses, but it is fun for when I want to just drive around and relax. You definitely won't run out of things to do. I'm more of a casual player when it comes to racing games though.
I'm pretty casual when it comes to racing as well. It looked really good to me for some reason.

Who here is losing sleep over it? I know I am.

Discuss how excited you are to shit your pants at the mercy of a horror game.

Edit: Played the game, major spooks were had, guys. I recommend playing in the dark with a headset turned up all the way. It's worth it. The smallest things scared me because the noises are all really rich. The androids are pretty spoopy as well. I've yet to come into contact with the full-on alien, only a couple of cutscenes.

When I unlock the bounties I'm going for Super Good Advice.

It gives you 3 random bounties to choose from. Fingers crossed you get that one, but its more uncommon than the others...
It's the "voices" one or something.

Activision is the cancer that killed Destiny for me. Ruined literally all of Bungie's potential.

I'm so disappointed with Destiny. You'd think the creators of Halo would make a much better game with a better story. The gunplay is till pretty fun and I enjoy playing with my friends though.

Very fun. Unfortunately I have very little time to play.
Same with me. What platform are you playing on?
PS4.
Noice. I was hoping you had it on Xbone though.
Might get one in the coming months.
Sweet.

Haven't gotten there yet, unfortunately.

Still considering buying it.
Take your time.
Story/characters seems 'meh' to 'turrible'.

Every single boss fight I've seen, and done in the Beta, are nearly identical.

I mean, I don't really have anything else to play, but this doesn't look great.
Well, it's not the best game I've ever played, but it certainly is fun.
