I would never pay $60 dollars for it, but my Suitemate did in my dorm. Halo 2A forge is aaamaaaaazing. If you're a diehard halo fan and haven't played the old game in awhile I would say go for it.

Haven't played any multiplayer except for halo 3 yet because shitty server problems
I really want to Forge, but the servers are kind of putting it off for me.

The only letdown was the server issues 343 was having. Trying to join anyone's lobby was a pain in the ass, matchmaking did not work, it would not allow you to play co-op campaign with friends at times. 343 and Microsoft said fixing these issues were their highest priority though, so it should be good fairly soon. Other than that, H2A campaign is amazing, the terminals add a lot to the story and are very interesting, the skulls are fun, the visuals are stunning, especially the cutscenes. It is amazing being able to go back onto all of my favorite Halo 2 maps and play customs on them again, H2A forge is insane, you can do so much cool stuff in it. It is also really nice not having to switch discs, although if I want to play Reach I still have to.
Okay, good. I've been hearing a lot of negative feedback online about the servers which made me nervous about its overall outcome. I'm glad to hear that everything I had hoped for (not including the server issues) was as great as it looked a couple of months ago. Thanks.

I like it and it has a lot of potential but they really dropped the ball on a lot of things.  50 file limit total, can't save films, no file browser, have to add person and then they have to be online to view their file share, the host in match making can boot people like a custom game (even in ranked), etc.
That's a shame. Maybe they'll implement something more efficient to help people with those needs.

Gaming / Opinion on the MCC

I thought that a couple of days after the MCC came out, people would have already formed their own opinions on it.

Do you guys like it? Is it as great as you thought it would be? A let down for some?

I just thought it would be neat to hear the original Halo community's (<3) opinion.

Edit: I got it, you guys! I'm currently creating a big ass forge map on Awash with my step-brother and we've been having a blast. I've also gotten some hands on time with CE multiplayer (new for me) and that's also pretty great. Unfortunately, I'm stuck on Cairo Station in H2 campaign because I suck at Legendary.

I'd play an objective Halo 2 playlist all day long.

I hate that for some reason the people I get matched with that still pick Last Resort or fuckin Snowbound over anything else.

Gaming / Am I the only one who likes the way Halo 5 is turning out?
« on: November 12, 2014, 10:31:14 AM »
I consider myself to be a hardcore Halo fan. I have every single game (except for Halo 4. I won't have the Master Chief Collection until this weekend), my childhood was composed mainly of playing Halo, I'm reading the books currently, and Halo is just absolutely my favorite game franchise of all time. I'm excited for Halo 5. It looks like it may play well, the visuals are nice, the guns and killing seem satisfying, and I don't mind the added weight of the ADS, "balanced sprint," etc.

I feel that people are afraid of the change that is coming. I'll admit, I was the same. As of now, I see that Halo can't stay the same as it was back in the day. People need to expect it. Plus, we're getting a beta that's really early on in development. 343 isn't doing anything wrong (yet).

Why do I always work when things like this happen?
I'm just glad I've got nothing going on as of now. The tournament starts at 2 PM PT.
I'm assuming it's over? I just got home.

Edit: It's still going!?
It's still going on.

Who here is watching it? If so, which team are you rooting for? I myself will be supporting Purple Rain because LEGIQN is great.

If any of you guys don't know what this is, it's basically a tournament for a bunch of different Halo teams that are competing for $50k. The teams are:

-StK
-OpTic Halo
-Believe The Hype
-The Agency
-VwS Gaming
-TCM Gaming
-Purple Rain
-Str8 Rippin

If you guys would like to watch it, go to Halo's Twitch.tv channel.
Here's the order they will be playing in:

Yes.
My friend recommended The Dead Kennedys to me and I've been listening to them ever since. I fracking love this album.

Edit: Since when was there a language filter on this forum?
Adsense threatened to drop us unless we toned down, obscenities, sexual references, slurs and other fun stuff so changes had to be made. Language filter being one of them but adsense dropped us anyway. I guess Cheat just decided to keep it for lols.
Tip top kek. I haven't posted in a while so it kinda caught me off guard.

The Flood / Do you find rain comforting?
« on: October 20, 2014, 09:39:29 PM »
I get excited whenever I see rain clouds forming. It makes me feel peaceful and lifts any weight off of my shoulders. There's nothing more calming for me than hearing rain and watching the clouds.

It's weird. I hate the sun and love the rain, yet I live in Florida.
