^^ it's the best total war game to date
I disagree. All the units look the same, the combat was horrible because of the new engine (they could only kill each other 1v1, and not as a unit), and various other things. It lacked unit diversity too, which also bugged me.
The general consensus is that Medieval 2 or Rome 1 are arguably the best ones. That's not to say Shogun is bad though.
Rome SUCKED you suck no but seriously I thought the entire logistics/city building aspect was really well done, and I always fucking shit on people with cannons so I wouldn't know too well about direct combat, so maybe you have a point. I should play Medieval 2 to compare & contrast idk

something about playgrounds at night is excessively eerie to me, I wouldn't go 100 feet near one at dark surprisingly that does seem like a charming little fun thing to do, glad you enjoy it
