It's like I say all the time, the only path to a post racial society is ignorance to race. Which will not happen by saying nigger. We're humans. We separate and categorize everything. Race will go away when we've all mixed to the point our entire species is just brown people.
"Niggers" is obviously being rebranded by the black community, and its new definition is post-racial because it is no longer synonymous with "black people". Except it is.
Black people call each other "nigga", and racist people still call black people "niggers". Nowhere does anybody say that word towards a white person.
If you choose to be racially charged, that's your decision, but ,my black friends know better than to think I'm being racist, and within fifty years, it will be the absolute norm. I pity your black friends for being friends with a slave apologist and confederacy supporter, and racist.
Really, what it comes down to is you want to be able to call black people niggers in public and hide behind the excuse of "oh it just means dumb people" when you're confronted about it.
Nigger is a variation of negro. The Spanish word for black. A word that can really only mean black people.
You don't change the definition of a word by avoiding its use, and you don't become post racial by avoiding "touchy subjects", you can only do that by facing them head on and blindly.
Or we could, you know, leave that word in the past where it belongs.
The fact that you're looking for any excuse to say the word says something about your intentions. If you really wanted to get to a post racial society, you wouldn't use a word which literally means "black" to describe a black person. You'd use idiot for a black person you dislike, if race was really not a factor for you like it is for me.
When I see somebody do something stupid or something is going on for me to dislike this person, there are all sorts of non racial words to use against this person because his or her race is entirely irrelevant in my eyes. You get rid of race by getting rid of racial language.
In fact, it's extremely racist of you to take a word which began as a slur for blacks, and to want to keep its negative connotations, but supposedly use it for everyone. If you really wanted to live in a post racial society? You'd flip that word on its head. Call somebody you like a nigger. Make it something positive, like black people have done.
But you won't, because you're racist.
It's a word that's not going away. You're just mad because you're a nigger. Oh, and only niggers think being called nigger is positive. That includes white and Mexican niggers.

For Halo CEA there should have been an extra campaign mode that adds things from the other games into it. That would justify it more and to me it would make it fit better in the lore due to latter editions. In Halo Reach we have Brutes but in Halo CE we don't see them even though Reach takes place before it. The same fleet that we encountered in Halo CE was the same one from Reach which would have Brutes.
Because Brutes and Elites are different leader classes, Brute-led squads are only really used for heavy assault where force is more important than tact, until Halo 2 when Brutes took the role of Elites. Because of this, Brutes didn't need to be deployed onto the Halo installation, as no missions suiting them would be present on a holy ringworld. They would obviously deploy Elite-led squads rather than the Brute-led alternative. And even if there were Brutes on Halo, why would they send Brutes after a single human? They'd just want to take him out quickly with as few mistakes as possible, and he certainly hadn't earned the title "demon" yet.

Yeah, I lived in St Pete for a few years and Clearwater after that. Originally from Orlando, actually. I really loved the storms, probably one of the state's only pros, and even then some people would consider it a major con.
