I always cut a small incision with an x-acto knife and drain them immediately.
I had some really bed ones on the bottoms of my feet from where I burnt them running on a hot tarmac, and I drained them for immediate relief and I couldn't even tell they had ever been there the next day except for some discolouration. 9638
