There's only two in the game, and one will turn on you mid way through unless you make use of an unexplained feature.

Yes and if you don't go into a specific building you completely miss her and then she's gone for good.
Just search around Lothering when you get there, don't think about leaving until you have picked up one of the two party members you can get there.
The game pretty much tells you to go there though... and towards Sten.

Yeah, because I was used to playing games where exploring and finding things was a good practice.
Wouldn't it make more sense to check the village first then, since hubs like that are always where quests are handed out for you to do when you explore the surrounding area?
Gotta find the loot and kill things to earn extra money.
Once I've scouted the area and gotten to know the place, then the questing starts.
This is actually a very rewarding practice in some games.

I wouldn't say that. The only similarity I really see with Reddit is the upvote system, but it's not like that's a very unique feature.
People have been saying the site was a reddit clone since before there was an upvote button though. B.next was very similar to reddit, but b.lind is kind of just its own shitty monstrosity.

Oh yeah man, there's absolutely no reason to have a deeper more immersive narrative to expand the lore on a universe of a game that tells a very linear story, which takes years to develop. All of the Star Wars books, games, and comics were just a cash grab too. Nobody legitimately cared about what happened before or after the films.

It was one of the most important and revolutionary FPS games of all time! And that completely fails to address the idea that a game can be used as a base for an entirely new experience that isn't part of the original game. I get why you wouldn't want to add weird shit to a game, but there's a side to modding that's essentially people sharing their own games on an open source platform. A lot of the best developers in the industry start as modders, and supporting new talent is important to me as someone who cares about this industry. In all, you shouldn't expansionary mods "defacement" of someone else's art. Think of it as a second statue made of marble from the same quarry as the David.

Last time I checked they were both also books, and there was some television and film content for halo too. This doesn't have anything to do with the games themselves, it's about lore.
