The Flood / All hail the father of memes« on: July 23, 2015, 08:27:17 PM »In 1976, Richard Dawkins invented the first meme in his basement. It was an image macro of some trippy shit on a weird ass landscape, with his name and the words "The Selfish Gene" over the top. Because he made it in such primitive era, before memeticist and memeologist Susan Blackmore invented the prime meme fonts, which allow for maximum memeification, Comic Sans and Impact, he used some serif font, and accidentally coloured his name yellow instead of white. The First Meme Dawkins is an outspoken atheist, and also the father of Aalewis, therefore the god-hero of all euphoria. In myth, he is known as Euphoreon, the meme pokemon. Dawkins, though he is white, was born in Africa. This makes him a rare proto-nigger, one of the white nigger overlords, and the same species as Cheat. While studying zoology, he discovered Pepe the frog, who revolutionised our understanding of both memes, and evolution. Pepe seemed to split off into hundreds of micro-pepes, in a process similar to budding. Some of these geneological adaptations were very common, others are one of a kind. As the were transmitted digitally, the rarest pepes were very quickly bought up, whereas such pepes as "feels good/bad man" are common enough that they are given out free as image macros. Good memes and scarlet A lapel pins will come to you, but only if you post, "Thanks for the memes, Doc Dawkins." In this thread. 9426

Today we are going to write a story.
You may post one sentence, and it will directly follow the sentence above yours. You cannot post twice consecutively. If you miss your intended slot in the thread, tough shit. Anything in spoilers is not considered part of the story. I'll begin. It started out as a joke. 9428

The one we've been doing recently was the parody. Oh, and you're boring, and not very bright. 9431

The Flood / Re: when did "troll" become a legitimate term to use outside of the internet« on: July 23, 2015, 05:49:15 PM »thanks for defining the word "meme" for usMy thesis is actually on memes. Of all of his contributions to modern society, we can thank Richard Dawkins for nothing more than creating the meme. 9433

The Flood / Re: You have five options« on: July 22, 2015, 10:50:06 PM »
Let's think.
We must choose a path that will get us to where we are going, meaning the path that leads where we want to go, is clearly the right path. So if we read books from left to right, and we learn math from books, presuming that we do math with numbers, the number I read last must be the right number. The obvious answer is option five. 9435

Maybe it's from growing up here but there isn't too much of a difference from the USA. Maybe it's less arrogance? That's something I've noticed in a lot of Americans when they speak of their country.Anybody who thinks Canadians are less arrogant than Americans, has either never met someone from the US, or never met someone from Canada. 9439

Canada is just a little to the right of a communist hellhole. And hockey is such a stupid fucking sport, I can't even fathom why anyone cares about it. I don't know when the last time I heard an American say anything about hockey was. Shit, even Nascar is more entertaining. 9440

The Flood / Re: Do you watch any machinima?« on: July 14, 2015, 10:27:13 PM »
I really don't any more.
I used to be a huge fan of RvB, and but fuck I haven't seen any of the episodes since like my sophomore year in high school. Arby 'n' the Chief had some machinima elements, though it was mostly action figures, and it's to this day one of my favourite youtube series. Also, there is a machinia series I used to watch that was actually quite good called The Unsociables, despite its lackluster title. But I don't really subscribe to machinima as a production method, as with anything, it could be good, or it could be god awful. 9444

Why didn't they just use the same shit from tron they used to make young Jeff Bridges, to bring back Heath Ledger as Joker?
Nobody else can outclass him, and he could be voiced by Mark Hamill. Everybody wins. |
