Super fucking boring. People constantly asking you if random movies are good, straightening up shelves, making room for new releases, making sure the returns in the drop slot are actually what they're supposed to be, calling people who left the wrong movie/no movie at all on the cases and then being yelled at for their mistakes.

And shit music constantly being played.
what you call boring, i call soul-crushing
get over yourself

The Flood / Why does Space Sector 2814 have so many Green Lanterns
« on: June 25, 2017, 11:48:19 PM »
Currently, there are 7 Green Lantern's patrolling earth's space sector, although Alan Scott is not a member of the corps and gets his power from the Starheart, not the central battery on Oa.

That still leaves six corps members, five more than needed.
So why have the guardians assigned so many Lanterns to our space sector?

The best I can hope for is that this universe starts putting out series soon, and we get the Teen Titans we've been waiting for, and maybe even a new Batman animated series to rival the original.
I doubt it considering they have yet to make a decent movie.
Both movies have been a solid A-.

The Flood / Re: what will the west do about the anime menace?

>Might

I've seen so many normies talking about anime, they don't need F/GO for it to explode. FUNi's resurrection of DBZ already pushed us past the point of no return.

like if the f/go english release gets as big in the west as it did in japan nothing is going to stop anime from becoming full blown normie instead of that odd hobby normies might have
Toei did that, FUNi carried on just because there was demand.

My tablet didn't agree with this site at all.

It's just an image with warp points that maps to a vector you draw.
You pretty much have to follow the original image's formula of medium close up, left facing, semi-profile portraiture.

•You demonstrate a basic lack of understanding in why evolution occurs
•Your misguided philosophy does not follow a logical structure, so this rebuttal is meaningless when discussing logic.
•Holding in gases is very unhealthy and can result in digestive issues, or in extreme cases, gas meant for one end of the digestive tract evacuating from the other. This can cause damage to your esophagus, result in breath with an odor far worse than the gas would've caused alone, or due to the acidity of burps, if it is forced to leave through your colon it can cause damage. You shouldn't have to apologise for passing gas in public any more than you should have to apologise for drinking water, they're just things you need to do regularly to maintain good health.
I probably understand evolution more than you do.

You can argue my philosophy may be misguided, but it does follow a pretty basic logical structure whether you like it or not.

Everything that is unhealthy about the social courtesy of holding in gas is 100% worth it. The reason we don't apologize for drinking water (regardless of whether we should or not) is because drinking water isn't disgusting. It doesn't produce an invasive foul odor or an obnoxious noise that might disturb other people.

I was about to say that I can't believe I'm having to explain this to you, but there's really nothing unbelievable about it.
On the contrary, there are many people who cannot stand the sights and sound of another eating or drinking.

And honestly, your understanding of most things is barely skin deep.
You think because you can see how things fit together you understand them, but you fail to notice anything about the components themselves, only that as the gears turn they slowly become worn.
That isn't understanding, it's just cynicism.

A human's appeal to perform natural bodily functions or to maintain a body in its natural form is driven more by a desire to live in a way that they are physically designed to live
physically designed by what

nature, maybe?

as such medical techniques are designed to work with the body, while hygiene products like razors, deodorants, most soaps, and yes, even pants, work against your body's design, and hinder its effectiveness and longevity.
And these are bad things?

Appeal to nature as a fallacy describes arguments such as "killing occurs in the animal kingdom and is therefore not immoral" because this represents a disconnect between cause and effect linked only by the appeal to nature.
"Farting is a natural thing, so it should be okay to do it without apology."

So I used it correctly all along. Thanks.

I enjoy farting and being gross.
This part
It's a biological function. Everyone farts. No one is immune from it. We're supposed to enjoy it. That's why it feels good. God, it's like I woke up in the Twilight Zone. Suddenly we deny our own biology.

I LIKE A HAIRY PUSSY!

There, I said it. It's fucking biology. We evolved to get turned on by the scent. I like the familiarity of natural scents. Don't shower for a couple of days? No problem in my book. Why do we hide it?
https://yourlogicalfallacyis.com/appeal-to-nature

saying "it's biology" over and over doesn't make it any less disgusting

biology is disgusting

the further away we are from our biology, the better we are
this is not the proper use of that fallacy

A human's appeal to perform natural bodily functions or to maintain a body in its natural form is driven more by a desire to live in a way that they are physically designed to live, and is therefore entirely logical under this sequence of cause and effect: use something the way it has been designed to be used; it is more effective and lasts longer. The fact that we can artificially extend life is a supplementation to this logic, not an interventive thread of thought, as such medical techniques are designed to work with the body, while hygiene products like razors, deodorants, most soaps, and yes, even pants, work against your body's design, and hinder its effectiveness and longevity.

Appeal to nature as a fallacy describes arguments such as "killing occurs in the animal kingdom and is therefore not immoral" because this represents a disconnect between cause and effect linked only by the appeal to nature.

That's the start of ego death

I am being totally serious

You need to choose who you want to be
What do you mean choose? I want to go back kinda but it's very hard to imagine what it was even like before.
He means find your id to salvage your ego.

Otherwise you will be nothing but superego, which lends itself to erraticism, which will be your death.
Your ego is very important, but it is precariously balanced on the edge of a sword, with one face of the blade being your id and the other your superego. If you cannot decide who you want to be, and come to terms with your id, then you will lose your ego, and be left only with a pattern of choice based on absolutely nothing, not even whimsy.

Before you can do any of that though, you need to admit that whether you exist or not, you must base all of your decisions on the presumption that you do. Believing that you do is not necessary, but you must act on that notion.
