Oh, sorry.
I forgot being boring isn't a fundamental flaw in entertainment.

legend of zelda is perfect on a conceptual level in the same way as tetris. this is life changing.
Tetris isn't perfect either.
name a single flaw.
If a game isn't universally appealing to everyone, it isn't perfect. I have always found Tetris boring.
Verb, consider this your answer too.

Since the quality of entertainment is subjective it can only be perfect if everyone likes it. It's not a complicated idea.

it's looking like i have the most hours played so far

who the fuck is that
Decently well known guy from the pre-sep7agon era.
We stil play Xbox sometimes.
based on the context of the thread i figured it would be obvious that i'm talking about the people on our forum.
forgive me, i forgot you were retarded
Most people here put years into b.net and know a bunch of people who posted there before we started this site. But yeah, let's keep the three year ruse that this isn't a Bungie offsite and we're not part of their community going.

but honestly, call me a fanboy, but the franchise (when taken as a whole) is technically flawless
No. Not at all.
it does and succeeds at everything that it sets out to do
No it doesn't.

pre examplar, I have 400hrs in destiny (not that many tbh), and I spent at least 300 of them shit talking parts of the game with my party.
But we were still playing, and we got back on and played again the next day.
Stop taking everything so damn seriously.

the creator of this video is quite obviously a big zelda fan, too—you kind of HAVE to be to make a video like this
it's clearly just a dude poking some fun at one of his favorite game franchises in a very lighthearted, tongue-in-cheek way—it's not meant to be an exposé or turn anyone away from the franchise, and if anything, it's a tribute
so you're using what's essentially a joke video to justify your loss of interest with a franchise
what a solonoid thing to do
Yes, clearly they are a fan. But that doesn't change the fact that sometimes we shit on things we love, and shrug with a "but I love it, what are you gonna do?" attitude, and the reasons we have to shit on them are the same reasons other people end up dropping it. Oh, but, I'm sure if we go back over this thread there will be a point where I claimed this YouTuber was creating a ravenous and very serious assault against Zelda, and maybe even my own heavyhanded demand that you all do the same. This video describes the reasons I lost interest in the franchise to a tee. Just because it isn't fuming doesn't mean it isn't true, and doesn't mean those reasons can't just be a *giggle, so true xD* moment for others.

you stopped playing zelda five years ago because of a video that contains no reasons why you would stop playing zelda?
Oh yeah, because vaguity, shit character motivation, a bunch of xxxtra flat characters, annoying mechanics, and a truly awful overarching narrative (all things mentioned in this video) are just the type of shit that keep you wanting to come back!

I'm hearing that there are no mods to be seen on this site anymore. And is an influx of new members still a problem?
no to both

I'd like to see revisions to RNG.
Bungie has made some promising changes to the loot system in the form of static weapon perks (no more god roll grind) and similar advancements, but little comment has been made on drops.
Obviously, completely random drop rates pissed off a lot of more casual players who wanted to be rewarded for how well they do, without having to invest a ton of hours in the game just playing okay.
More activities that guarantee higher light loot would be great, but more difficult than the standard fare of *grind until you get a skeleton key and then grind until you get the item you want from the strike that drops it*
More difficult in terms of actual gameplay, that is. Easier in terms of the randomness of such events.

i want 6v6 back. more than 6v6 if possible. i dont want to have to buy the dlc to get it either. pve needs better super charge times. its weird to have 3 for a strike, 4 for a crucible match and 6 for a raid. someone needs to be shot for that.
ill probably think of more things later. it just sucks that this is the game my friends want to play so ill end up getting it.
All Crucible modes so far are 4v4. This includes Trials and Elimination, which have traditionally been 3v3. There is a chance that BTB (8v8) may make an appearance, but I would certainly like to see 6v6, which I find to be a little less hectic, to make a return as well.

i mean you're rich, right?
hahahahaha
You said you were buying a house not long ago
Like, two years ago I was going to buy a house. My mother (who has been the source of most of the woes in my life) made some calls and lied to the right people and cost me my job, had me arrested (I was released after two days on that one. It was my first arrest) and has generally made my life hell for the last two years. Ergo I just moved to PA and am starting school, because it has become clear to me that I won't be able to get back to where I used to be in life without a degree. Further, I was going to buy that house because I had a good job and excellent credit, neither of which I possess today. My bank account has never been bursting at the seams, but I used to have a decent stash put away. No longer.

834, plus however many I spent on 360, though not much.
Still only top 37%, which is pretty surprising.
the top PS4 player has like 5,000 hrs more than the top Xbone player.

i've actually thought about making a playthrough thread for destiny, but i wouldn't want it to just turn into a circlejerk of everyone just hating it, because that would probably happen
I feel like there's little you could comment on, its very run of the mill just shoot through hordes of enemies, then hold out for three to four waves of more enemies, then press a button or two. Then go back to the tower.
I feel like you just wouldn't get much to comment on by the time you beat the third mission on the moon.
It was very much a game about the grind. Once you got your rhythm going it kind of outgrew its gameplay. Approaching the game like something you could play through once was not very rewarding, but playing raids, doing dailies, strike playlists, and things like that are what have kept some players coming back.

I ended up deleting it off my hard drive to make room for FFXV and Halo 5. What a complete waste of money because I bought the season pass too thinking I was gonna poopsock the game.
Season Pass was a waste of money if you did play the game. y2 and y3 were the only real content updates worth paying for

Is 708 a good FICO score? That's what I have.
Yes, very. Mine was 730 for a while, though it's gone down since I've stopped utilizing my credit. But I'm also older than your average college freshman, so...

They're almost always taken out by a person with no guarantee of future income, no credit history, and no family means.
It's always a gamble, more so than a mortgage, credit cards or anything else.
This is blatant and obvious. if this were true (it isn't), you would be able to realize the stupidity of wanting a simple "yes" or "no" answer
but you're braindead due to frequent drug abuse, so of course you don't
Oh yeah.
The average person putting themselves through college has a 780 FICO score, trust fund, and great job security.
TIL "average" means "all"
TIL "almost always" means "always"

Wow, that's some real salt. Could it be that verb is anti-work not because he actually hates work, but because he isn't charismatic enough to get through an interview? i hate work for every reason conceivable
intelligent people only pull out loans if they know they'll be able to pay them back later, even in the face of a volatile market
that's the only answer i'm willing to give, and if that's not good enough, then go fuck yourself
But that's what makes a student loan inherently different. They're almost always taken out by a person with no guarantee of future income, no credit history, and no family means. It's always a gamble, more so than a mortgage, credit cards or anything else. This is blatant and obvious. I came to ask if that's a risk people think i worth taking, but all you've done is dither on about conventional (and frankly ancient) fiscal practices. In the future, if you can't answer a question, just keep your mouth shut.
