That's so shitty.
Well, congratulations, Microsoft—as of August, you will finally have a slightly better online service than the PS4's in the UK.
Nintendo still wins overall.
Yeah but then you have to play Nintendo in this century.

Following the massive success of the Portal Franchise, which hit its limit in number of sequels according to the Valve Enumeration Mathematical Base, Valve has top secret Plans in the work on a NEW IP in the Half Life universe. God only knows what this means, but it may shed some light on facets of the Universe we've been wondering about. Of course, there are many things this could be. So many, speculation is practically pointless. Did anyone expect an Aperture Science franchise? Not really, but it happened. The odds that it will tie into the story of Portal or Half Life in any meaningful way are slim to none. This is, of course, old news, but I hadn't seen anything about it and wanted to share.

Kill Tracker Ghost Shell confirmed as a Pre-Order bonus. You could always access this data online, but this is a neat little tool. I definitely like the way they're approaching pre-order bonuses for this title. The Vanguard Armory being GameStop exclusive was really stupid, especially considering all I heard about how good it is for leveling your first character. I'll never know, all of my characters were level capped by the time it went public. Also, media I have seen leads me to believe this bonus will be on all platforms, not PS exclusive as this PlayStation sponsored video may lead you to believe. I believe there will also be a salute emote as a pre-order bonus, but I'm not sure if it will be PS exclusive, or even if it has been verified yet.

The Cold Heart, reminiscent of the sentinel beam, confirmed as a Pre-Order bonus.

boi what even archetype is this?
It's in its own class.
Bungie says they'll add more later, but it's the only Trace Rifle in the base game.
functionally identical to the particle rifle in me3, the best gun in the game.
have they said whether it's an energy or power weapon?
Not so far, but it would be cool in either slot.
Confirmed for Energy slot.

New footage was just released at Comic Con. They actually gave Zavala a personality, and it comes off pretty well, a lot like he is described in the Grimoire.

really don't like the new weapon system
Seriously. I couldn't see any point in differentiating energy and kinetic weapons from the demo. And shotguns and snipers are heavy weapons because they couldn't figure out how to balance them for the shitty pvp? C'mon.
I like it. I usually used a sidearm to mow through shields, and elemental primaries have always been coveted, but really unbalanced in PvE, especially with modifiers. This usually results in your favorite loadout being useless in some situations, and god tier in others, or forced you to use an elemental primary you hated just for the burn. I was not a fan of the Zhalo Supercell, but it was hands down the best weapon in Arc Burn, even before Fatebringer was useless. Though, now that Fatebringer is back, the Supercell isn't just plain the ONLY option. Displacing the amount that these weapons can be used by moving them to the special slot will create some interesting PvE, and considering how much I even used my Sniper or Shotgun when I had them equipped, plus how weak they were in the special slot for PvE, moving them into heavy and giving them a nice PvE buff should be awesome. Not to mention I almost absolutely never touched my heavy slot. Ultimately a lot of these changes seem to be geared toward more casual players wanting to enjoy PvE, and I'm okay with that.

This beta build is several months old and is just a server test.

Several reasons. One that hasn't been mentioned yet is the availability of arms. If you're a police officer in a country that has more privately owned guns in it than people, you're trained to just about expect the worst in any situation. Pulling over a car with a pinged plate, breaking up a confrontation, called for a domestic dispute or possible break in? Odds are someone's going to have a gun. 60 something policemen shot dead while on duty in 2016 alone. That's more than one a week. They're trained to prepare for stuff like this.
Of course, should the government ever turn against us, the ability to kill police will be vital.
That's highly doubtful.
Except for the all the time it happens literally all over the world.

I spied him from across the food court.
I wasn't sure if the thin pube-like hair on his face was from neglect, or a genuine belief that it made him look cool. His white New Balances stepped on the backs of his mom jeans, and it was clear both had seen better days. He wore a faded Blue Lantern shirt, an ill-fitting Umbrella Corp. hoodie, and tucked away his greasy hair beneath an Eevee baseball cap. With ears.
I almost stood to ask if he was who I thought, but he turned to waddle away and I saw the Tamagotchi lanyard dangling from his pocket and I knew.
Do you?

eh, twilight princess on gamecube is the definitive version anyway (link is actually left-handed in that game)
botw honestly feels like butter
I was so mad when I realized he wasn't right handed in Twilight princess. My buddy mentioned it and it threw my perception of the game pretty hard.
I still need to play BotW. Looks like a return to form for the series.
He's also left handed in LttP, which I feel was the definitive title in the series.
He's left handed in every Zelda
it was only flipped for the Wii
With the exception of Skyward Sword and Breath of the Wild.
Obvious reasons—motion controls, right-handed players, etc—but it would've been dope of them if they just added an option for lefties, because apparently, some of them actually have a harder time playing games like that.
I'm surprised they DON'T have that option... That seems like a massive oversight. I know lefties aren't very common, but it seems that if your star character is a lefty, along with the creator, you should sure as hell at least add the option.
I guess I found the overall franchise's ONE FLAW after all
solonoid wins
You forgot Zelda 2
Hello, I am Error. REEEEEEEEEEE
i still love zelda 2 tbh
Like a mother loves her ugly child, I understand.
Her ugly, retarded, stepchild.
