I traced over to his facebook page, and saw that he was very avid about lgbt rights for a 14 year old. He had linked his MAL, which held the names of over 300 animes which he had seen, and countless more which he was working on watching. I flicked over to his browsing history. Hours upon hours of gay porn. An impossible amount. A lot of time spent on /b/ And one other website. A small gaming forum, where he posted about ridiculous things like veganism and anti-natalism. His username? Das Boot? Nah, it's Verbs.

We have brains. Vegans are using them. Meat-eaters are not.
On what grounds do you think we are not a part (perhaps the biggest part) of Earth's ecosystem? Without man, land predators in North America, Europe, and other developed parts of th world are severely outnumbered by prey. I don't care how long it takes, the prey will eventually become overpopulous. They have the overwhelming advantage of numbers, and while the predators will never go hungry, animals such as Cattle, chickens, and sheep will explode in population without being harvested, and not be able to feed on the limited food supply. It would be unethical to simply abandon our role in the food chain, which evolution has placed us in, and the ecosystem has evolved around. If the lions and other predators like them decided to become vegetarian, (as ridiculous as it sounds) how fucked would african wildlife be? They'd overpopulate and starve. Now, sure, the lion may not have the means to feed itself otherwise as we do, but that is semantical in nature, and totally aside from the point that man belongs at the top of the food chain. To retire from such a position would quake the very foundation of earth's ecosystem, and cause an incredibly uneasy, very long lasting, period of transition.
