He can jump on a plane or two, that he owns, and fly to anywhere in the world he wants, anytime of day. He owns his own gas stations. He could probably buy land you owned out from under your feet by waving some cash in front of the government.
And he gets to do all of that, while the only thing I want to do for the people I care for is help them in anyway I can. And I'm struggling, on top of it all.
He's doing all that while there are people around me, who are worse off than me. I'm not even that bad. I could probably pass for middle class. And there are other rich people, out there in the world living in this big illusionary board game, believing that they're somehow elite or superior to others below them, spending so much and so selfishly while there's other people out there who are having a shit time and can't seem to fix things even if they tried their best.
And, there's nothing you can do about that.

I work two jobs.

That's why I choose to help in the manner I do. And you especially can't bring money into this because I make what they need. And I ask for nothing in return.
You don't get to tell me that I'm not willing to do anything about it.

I stole from people, even people who thought they could trust me. If I had kept at it I might be rich today, or I might be in prison, but I stopped because I wasn't willing to take that risk anymore. It's dandy to want to be honest, but you should never say that life isn't fair, because you have all the same abilities as anyone else, and it's which opportunities you are willing to seize that decide how successful you are, even if you aren't aforded all of the easy opportunities somebody else is.

Out of all the people who are considered pariahs by the community at large, I haven't really interacted with any of them. Except Kiyo, maybe, but she seemed kind of small-time.
If you never browsed the community forum on B.old, then you probably wouldn't have seen Ken as much. The guy was regarded as a wannabe mod pretty much. The mythic members even did things like change their tags on Reach to SK15 to fuck with him. One of the more big things to happen was when Deej was running a contest to win a shirt, apparently Ken cheated and got a group to vote for him on alts, the mythic members did the same after with another contest member. It ended with Deej cutting the shirt in half and sending them each a half.
