But I have a full time job, and several lines of credit.
I'm moving back to where I grew up and still looking for a place, crashing with a friend.
Last time I actually had to sleep in drug dens and shit like that, but it feels good to just be in transition in my life, and still a responsible adult who just hasn't settled in yet, instead of the broke teenager I was when I was actually homeless.
But for now, I don't have a place to call my own, and I'm moving on and I like to think moving up in life.
I would say AMA, but I hate answering questions, so I'll just ask one instead.
Had anybody else here ever been homeless or known anybody who was?

I enjoy your post thread for someone who doesn't care too.
The post count is an indicator of how active someone is, not of being an elite poster. My question here is why I seem to not notice the people I should notice the most. I'm not jealous, although I do think I need to be more active and post more often. But I can't imagine coming into a thread and saying something for the sake of just saying anything. It's the reason I make a lot of threads but don't comment all that much. Honestly the solution is probably that I never post on gaming or serious, because I find it difficult to balance my use of different boards. So I don't know what you felt this thread was about, but the genuine purpose is to find the discussion I'm missing out on, if there really is any.

I don't think that's ever happened, you rarely bring that up from what I've seen and a lot of people wouldn't care if post count was gone.

My point was more that the hardest part would be the online time, not the posting. Posts happen by themselves, online time takes forever to track up for this of is who don't leave our computer online constantly.

Usually when I get banned it's to do something I feel needs to be done, to prove a point. Like the time Cheese Potato and I harassed that kid, Keith the nine year old on b.net. I called his house, and even when everyone else took down his personal information, I kept going, because I wanted to make a point to that kid about how careful you have to be with your personal information on the internet. So for me, it's not so much the things I say, it's the convictions I hold. The same basic principle though.

It's stupid that threads get locked for topics changing as they're discussed.
That's not the policy. But because that wasn't the first time the thread got derailed, and it was derailed with insults about a member, I really didn't have a choice but to lock it to keep it from happening over and over.
To be clear, I'm not against threads evolving naturally into another topic, but I am against multiple people ganging up on one user.
This actually isn't in response to alakazam's thread, it's a thread I've been meaning to make for a while, and I was reminded by setting that one locked.
