Rey is the descendant of Bastila Shan
I actually wouldn't mind her having a double bladed lightsaber like Bastila and Satele tbh fam
I kind of expect her to use some kind of double bladed light saber because of her staff
I see her as using a yellow colored crystal, let us see a color in a film we haven't seen before.
It'd look cool as hell

Abrams is only directing one of them Yeah, lots of people seem to be forgetting this. It reminds me of that old common misconception that George Lucas directed every Star Wars film--even the OT, which is, of course, not true. Irvin Kershner directed Empire, and someone else directed RotJ.
Did George have anything to do with Empire or RotJ?...
According to IMDb, he was an Executive Producer, which is also something JJ Abrams will be doing http://variety.com/2015/film/news/jj-abrams-star-wars-episode-viii-1201667205/

Honestly, I don't care if she's Luke's kid or not, I just want an explanation as to how she's so powerful
I think being Luke's kid is enough of an explanation.
I agree, hence the "The force is strong in my family" being reused in one of the trailers. And I wouldn't say "powerful" just yet--just precocious. Yeah. Wrong wording on my part

Kathleen Kennedy also said that the Saga films focus on the Skywalkers http://www.starwarsunderworld.com/2015/10/kathleen-kennedy-confirms-saga-films.html“The Saga films focus on the Skywalker family saga,” she explains. “The stories follow a linear narrative that connects to the previous six films. The Force Awakens follows Return of the Jedi and continues that generational story. The Anthology films offer opportunities to explore fresh characters, new storylines and a variety of genres inside the Star Wars universe.” Honestly, I don't care if she's Luke's kid or not, I just want an explanation as to how she's so powerful

I don't think Sheev would have been useless to Anakin if he didn't get fucked up. Thinking about it, Sheev was the only person Anakin had left, Padme and the Jedi were dead to his knowledge, and he'd probably assume his child died too.
The thing that pushed Vader to try and overthrow Palpatine was Luke, and I'd imagine that the same would happen crippled or not. The difference would probably be Vader would be more powerful and palpatine would probably have contingencies in case Vader did try to overthrow him (could brand him a traitor for one).

Revan was going to appear in the Mortis arc of The Clone Wars, so that would have solidified him as canon, but as of now, doesn't look like it since he was cut (Darth Bane was also supposed to appear with him, but he didn't and ended up being used later on)

As much as I love the traitor guy, she should have been the one to beat Finn down on Maz's planet.

Destiny is pretty disappointing lore wise in game but the Grimoire is pretty solid stuff http://db.destinytracker.com/grimoireSome stuff is referenced in TTK (Eris mentions they'll lose you like Eriana, a Guardian in the Fireteam that tried to kill Crota) and there is a mission centered around Praedyth, Tolands journal is brought up, but it feels very limited in comparison to the Grimoire.

Do you have a 3DS? Because OOT3D is probably the best version (I haven't played it on VC)

Pretty sure Luke was never explicitly tasked with killing his father like Ren was.
He was told he had to face him, not kill him.
Obi-Wan totally meant kill though, as soon as Luke said that he can't kill Vader, Obi-Wan told him then the Emperor has already won. 1:55

Sorry for changing my choice of the track, but I don't want my original choice (engage the enemy) to look like it's the only track I enjoy......
That's got to be my favourite track in the game, the only reason I posted the medley was so I wouldn't have to choose one Xenoblade song

Pretty damn good, feels a lot like A New Hope which isn't great, but it's really enjoyable to watch. Also I really want to see the future for Kylo Ren

I absolutely adore Ewan McGregor.
He deserves a spinoff

I cannot wait to see Luke train Rey in Ep 8. Yoda training Luke was was one of my favorite segments from Empire Strikes Back and I hope in Ep 8, we see Yoda and Obi Wan force ghosts to tell Rey some things about the Force. We won't. Alec Guiness died some time ago, and I'm sure I'm on the same page as the producers of Ep. 8 when I say that I'd rather not see a half-assed attempt of recasting or CGI-ing him.
Also, there's no need to spoiler-tag stuff. There's already a spoiler tag in the OP.
There's nothing wrong with using Ewan McGregor as Obi Wan. He played the character extremely well in the prequels.
If they are able to successfully make Ewan look exactly like Alec and Obi Wan and Yoda make an appearance in 8 that would be incredible... My god that idea.
Reminds me of this, Ewan says he watched a lot of Alec's performance before acting (about 3:16) and directly talk about how physically they wanted Ewan to be to Alec (about 3:40)
