I don't see why I would need to quit my job for becoming a vegetarian, I treat my animals pretty well. At least as well as those retarded ass chickens allow (I literally have to stop them from eating each other).
but hey, you're still entitled to your opinions. I would suggest you not assume they are fact though. toodles 98

The Flood / Re: How Is Verbatim A Vegan?« on: December 09, 2015, 02:08:34 PM »splitting hairs is a type of fallacy tater. Not it isn't. You demonstrate your unwillingness to make a distinction between an adult pig and a baby simply because you think it's unfair to compare them based on their maturity—but I'm NOT comparing them in that way. I'm comparing them based on their sapience. Nothing more. It's not a strawman to point out your fallacy. And yes, splitting hairs is in fact a type of fallacy. You're arguing a minor fact to try and dispute the primary, this is splitting hairs. 101

No, your usage of a fallacy allows me to dismiss your arguments. 105
The Flood / Re: How Is Verbatim A Vegan?« on: December 09, 2015, 01:54:09 PM »Just a quick question; Maybe not the relative intelligence but the relative potential? Wouldn't that increase the human child's value over another animal? Although you think that humans are evil themselves so...and baby humans are smarter than baby pigsExcept it's not a false equivalency if we're comparing the relative intelligence of two organisms, not the relative maturity. actually, if verb is so convinced that pigs are intelligent to a point comparable to humans, he might have to deal with the fact that wild pigs, the much smarter variant of pig, destroy their environment, are consummate omnivores, and kill each other often, shouldn't he want them "mauled by some predator"? humans are predators. 106

say sjw three times, it's the fastest way to summon cindy.
But yeah, some level of polite discourse is ultimately a good thing, but the more actually oppressive ideals that many "pc" folks are wishing for is kind of stupid, and actually really hypocritical. 109
The Flood / Re: How Is Verbatim A Vegan?« on: December 09, 2015, 01:29:32 PM »I used to be. And yes, ask any English professor--you actually CAN arbitrarily change definitions of words to help make your point.but they can't. You can't just arbitrarily change the definitions of words lol arent you like an English major or something?I mean by definition it's not homicide, nor is it cannabalism. If "homicide" can be reduced to "kill", and "cannibalism" can be reduced to "organisms eating each other", then yes, I can use those terms. You weren't using metaphors, you were saying things as if it was factual, or at least, should be factual, that the words be completely changed. Just so their definitions more fit your line of thinking. 110

I also forgot it said cramped quarters.
more a problem with the increasing volume of the animals as they grow, they aer stil open to move around, though some houses use the cage method. much more have open floors. clumping up together and dying is more to do with the chickens own retardation. 114

I've watched this before about 90% shittiness of the job depends on the company you are contracted to, tyson and townsend can be shitty, but smaller operations are much better. 115

Most farmers aren't "hired" they operate under contract and have full operation of their own farms. They simply follow company guidelines in order to get the chickens they produce. the farmers grow the birds themeselves, then give them back to be slaughtered. 117
The Flood / Re: How Is Verbatim A Vegan?« on: December 08, 2015, 10:59:40 PM »Which are made from old, sick, and dying adult chickens, not chicks.I have to wonder what the thought process is behind the people who call for and design machines like that.chicken nuggets this is not necessarily true, although it's correct that it's adult chickens and not chicks, generally chicken nuggets come from egg laying birds, who have a lot of antibiotics and health suplements in them as they are more prone to diseases than the more meaty food-chickens. farmers are paid more for healthy birds, so it makes very, very little sense to sell off your birds sick and dying. 118

The Flood / Re: How Is Verbatim A Vegan?« on: December 08, 2015, 10:56:49 PM »I feel like I definitely should have known this if it was true.I will point out that I work in the meat industry and am required to kill the animals as humanely as possible, by snapping their necks...I don't believe you. well shit..I don't have any pictures... ahh, I know. generally you start the day buy waking up early and checking the temperature in your houses, as well as water usage. too much water and you may have a leak or busted line, which can be disasterous as it soaks the floor and can damage their feet, as well as making it a mucky mess that they can get stuck in and die. when they're young, such as chicks they are required to stay at the temperature of about 85-90. this lowers as they age. several hours after checking them the first time, it's time to walk through to get dead birds out. I am in the early (chick) stages, so this is quite easy, later on birds can weigh between 8-11 lbs and the only practical way to do this is with a bunch in hands, this is why I can have strong musculature without doing any "lifting". while you are doing this you are checking for any problems with the house, which are semi-common, which often use the rest of the day to fix. other than that, you mostly have to check on them and make sure nothing goes wrong, such as a lack of feed, water, or incorrect lighting settings (industry agrees solid walls that don't let in light are better, and for heat they are, but I prefer the openable walls of egg houses.) that's a quick overview of a normal day. 120
