I follow the cobblestone road
You walk around the giant lake, causing the deer to run off when it sees you. Stepping onto the cobblestone road, you begin trekking out of the woods. You walk for an hour before the trees start to thin out and you're able to spot what looks like an immense plain in the distance. Looking to your side, however, you see a plume of smoke rising up from farther into the forest. The sounds of the birds has halted.
I reset my crossbow and try to investigate.

again, it's their choice to smoke. I don't agree that it's a smart decision, the fact still remains that they aren't hurting anyone but themselves if they are being responsible, which most people are.
